Overview: Lost in the Stars is a Night in the woods fan fiction piece. It takes place several months after the events of Night in the Woods end. The Story revolves around a traveling band of musicians that have dubbed themselves "Lost in the Stars" or LITS for short. The band consisted of 5 members but is now down to 4 at present day. They have been traveling together and performing for seven years only recently running into any level of success. Previously the band reluctantly took part in criminal and morally grey activity to get by before they gained a following online. The story takes place when the band, exhausted from years on the road and all that comes with it, decide to settle down in a small town in Bright County. The band comes face to face with their past demons, both literal and metaphorical, as they attempt to move on and settle down. But as they come to discover sometimes the past itself refuses to be forgotten.

Just like all the members of LITS was born in the small town of Moreano Valley. After years of bumming around town, pretending to be a band, with his ragtag group of friends Jon was forced to grow up early when his uncle's store and family's only source of income falls into his paws. When Jon's uncle passes it leaves him with nothing but a weird journal and nothing else to lose. Jon convinces his childhood friends that stardom waits on the open road and that their hometown had nothing left to offer them. For years Jon lives the rebellious life he had dreamed of as a preteen, before reality caught up with him. After the loss of Sid, Jon quickly became the helm of the ship, taking responsibility for the band both legally and personally. He tries his best, but sometimes it just isn't enough.
