Sasuke:

It was the wedding party. Their  wedding party. How irritating that I was spending my day at this losers wedding. I was only dragged into this by Kakashi. After the ninja war I was put on close watch. Some of the people in the village were skeptical about my return but I could care less of what they thought. So here I am.

"Hey Sasuke, quit sulking and grab a drink" I heard the guys saying behind me.

"I'm fine right here baka" I say but walk away anyways. They just shrug and continue socializing.

I walk into the kitchen where it's more peaceful. Or so I thought.

I walk in and hear somebody sniffling.

Oh god. I thought to myself. I decide to walk away instead of seeing who the sounds belonged to.

"W-who's there?" I hear them say.

I just sigh and turn back around to see the person.

"O-oh h-hi Sasuke-kun. I didn't see you there." Hinata says softly wiping her eyes.

Was she crying?

"Hmp. I was just looking for a quiet place to sit."

"O-Oh it's o-okay I could just leave" She stutters much to my annoyance.

"It's fine" I say in response. She just turns herself back to the table and away from me. That's when I noticed the several shot glasses by her side.

She began to sob again and I rolled my eyes. She was clearly getting tipsy. I saw her reach for another shot but I grabbed her wrist.

"I think you've had enough. I'm taking you home." I say. She began to giggle then went back to sobbing almost out of nowhere.

Yup.. Drunk.

I looked around for Neji but saw him knocked out on the sofa with his head under his arms. The party was pretty much dying down. I looked back down to Hinata who began to get drowsy.

"Hey! Wake up loser!" I say irritated. She just giggles again but then I feel her legs give out. Right before she hits the ground I catch her.

I did not sign up for this.

I pick her up bridal style and decide to just take her to my place to rest. She fell asleep in my arms.

Lets get you out of here. I whisper more to myself then anything.

I stepped outside but much to my dismay, it had begun snowing. I felt Hinata groan around my arms obviously cold so I rest my jacket over her. Once I got to my place, I decided to lay her down on my bed while I would sleep on the sofa.

I took her shoes off and pulled the covers over her. I began to get up when I felt arms wrap around my waist. I turn around and see Hinata holding me so I sit back down.

"S-Sasuke-kun, i'm s-so sorry" She cries whilst holding onto me.

"Eh? Just let go of me and get to sleep."

"I l-lost my c-chance S-Sasuke-kun" She weeps onto me. By now she was on my lap crying into my shirt. I felt my cheeks heat up. What the hell is wrong with me?

"Hm? What chance?" I ask as casual as possible."

"N-Naruto l-loves Sakura. I m-missed my c-chance to confess." She cries then it hits me. It was always pretty obvious how love-struck she was for Naruto. Everybody could see it but Naruto.

"That baka" I whisper more to myself then to her. I didn't know much about how to comfort somebody.

"Now now, it'll uh.. it'll be okay" I say awkwardly.

She pulls away from me and looks at me suddenly chuckling.

"Y-you're really bad at this Sasuke-kun" She says breaking out in laughter.

My face heats up.

"HEY, WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY METHODS!" I say clearly embarrassed.

I then look away and huff until I hear her yawn. I turn back to her and see her rubbing her eyes.

I never noticed it before but she actually wasn't that hard to look at. She had a creamy pale type of complexion and her bust was round and almost tempting. Her dark hair was over her shoulders and had a very silky look to it.

I sighed.

"Naruto is an idiot for not realizing it sooner." I say chuckling. I see her face go red and her body began to figit.

"W-was it t-that obvious?"

I pull her body to me and hold her close.

"No. It wasn't." I say to to calm her down. She just wraps herself around me again. I felt my body go warm at her touch. I bite my lip to hold in an irritated groan. I was falling for the Hyuga girl.
