Chappie One: Arrows

Luna POV

As I raced through the forest I looked around for my brothers, Hawk and Thorn, and was surprised to see they weren't next to me. I stopped and turned around, looking each way for them.

"Hawk! Thorn! Guys?!" I screamed out into the forest, nothing but the sounds of the forest answered me.

My heart beat started to pick up as minutes passed by that I didn't see them. Suddenly the sound of something  behind me made me swirl around, my fists up ready to fight.

A growl echoed through the forest and I saw that the animal was a black bear.

I took a step forward towards the bear and it went on its hind legs, trying to scare me. Taking a deep breath, I growled at it and stepped towards it again.

The black bear growled at me but
went back on four legs. I crouched down and put my hand on the dirt as I looked into the bears eyes. The bear growled at me but kept its gaze on my eyes as it pawed at the dirt nervously.

I slowly turned my hand in the dirt, making small little swirling patterns.
The black bear suddenly looked away from my gaze and backed away before turning around and running off with an almost guilty sounding growl.

When I was was sure it was gone I quickly got up from my crouched position and looked around again.

"Hawk! Thorn!" I called out for my brothers but I couldn't see or hear them. I sighed in defeat and was about to sit down when I heard a bow notch right behind me.

Quickly swirling around I grabbed an arrow that was about to hit me in the head. I looked up towards where it came from but saw no one.

"Hello? Anyone there?" I called out towards the forest but I heard no reply.

Suddenly a girl wearing a silver shirt  and blue jeans stepped out of the forest, a bow pointed right at me.

"Who are you and why are you here?!" She yelled at me and I flinched.

"The real question is, who are you?!" I yelled back at her and it seemed to surprise her but she quickly masked it.

"Tell me who you are and I might spare you!" She shouted at me and I raised an eyebrow even though I was terrified inside.

"Tell me who you are and I might spare you!" I shouted back at her and the girl pulled back an arrow.

I gulped and took a step back right as the girl let go of the arrow. It soared towards me and was about to hit me when suddenly the arrow just fell down, almost like it hit an invisible object.

"Maria! You do not shoot a innocent mortal, a girl no less, have you no honor?" A feminine voice shouted.

I looked around for where it came from and saw a young girl exiting the forest next to the girl who shot me who I now knew as Maria. The new girl had short black hair and was wearing a black leather jacket with blue jeans that had rips in it.

Maria looked towards the girl and looked down in shame.

"I'm sorry Thalia, but she-" Maria started but was cut short by the new girl, Thalia, who shot a glare in her direction.

Thalia looked towards me "sleep" she told me and snapped her fingers.

I started to suddenly feel really drowsy and the last thing I remembered was falling down towards the ground before darkness entered my vision.
