Luna's POV

Key ran over to the Hermes cabin and neighed loudly, making a bunch of people turn their heads in alarm.

Key turned her head towards the Hermes cabin door and snorted, just as Alice walked out.

Alice swirled around and looked at me riding Key in surprise.

"What-? You know what, I'm not even going to ask." She muttered to herself loudly and tossed her hands up in the air.

I giggled and got off the back of Key, being careful not to fall on my face and make a fool of myself.

Key snorted and nudged me before looking at Alice who was staring at Key with wonder.

"Is that a Pegasus?" Alice asked me and I nodded, rubbing Key's nose.

"Her name is Key, she is new here and apparently she was looking for me, she also tried to kick Percy in the face" I told Alice with a chuckle and her eyes widened.

"Really?" She asked me with a giggled but then her face hardened "maybe that was a gift from your mom...I wish my parent would give me a sign..."

Alice's head dropped in sadness and I rubbed her back, "it's ok, I bet there are lots of people here who don't know who their godly parent is" I told her and she looked up at me.

"I don't know what I would do without you Luna" she told me and then wrapped her arms around me in a hug.

I hugged her back, squeezing her tightly as if I would never let go, something that I knew she needed right now.

Suddenly Alice pulled away and looked at me, holding my shoulders.

"Key might be hungry, want to get her something to eat?" She asked me and I nodded, Key nudging my shoulder to remind me that she is there.

I scratched Key behind the ear and turned back to Alice, "you want to ride her with me?" I asked and she nodded.

Grabbing hold of Key's neck I swung onto her back, reaching my hand out for Alice to grab.

She smiled and grabbed ahold of my hand and I helped her onto Key's back.

"You ready?" I asked her, turning my head a little bit in her direction.

"Yes" Alice told me and I turned my head back to the front.

I leaned down to Key's head, "run Key run" I whispered to her and she neighed loudly before galloping towards the stable.

Key spread her wings out a little bit and for a second I was afraid she was going to start to fly again but instead she folded them back.

I guess she just wanted to stretch her wings a little bit.
