Chappie Four: Demi-god

Luna POV

I woke up about three seconds later to find that everyone was staring at me.

"What?" I asked and Mr. D smirked.

"Well Chiron, you should tell Luna about camp now, I can tell she is dying to know" Mr. D said, emphasizing the word dying.

Chiron glared at Mr. D for a split second before turning to Kayla and saying "Kayla, I have some stuff to do, can you please tell Luna for me?"

Kayla nodded and Chiron smiled at her and ran of- wait no, he galloped off. Kayla took my hand and led me to the living room. We both sat down on the couch and Kayla looked at me.

"This is a camp for Demi-gods, children that are half mortal and half god. We train here, go on quests, and do awesome stuff. Every single Greek and roman monster ever told exists and goes around trying to kill us Demi-gods, the only place safe from them are here, and at the roman camp. There are friendly creatures here like Chiron, satyrs, nymphs, and more. Any questions?" Kara said.

I nodded but was still confused "why am I here then, I'm not a Demi-god."

Kayla smiled and then started to laugh before regaining herself and saying "you couldn't be here if you weren't a Demi-god or at least had some gods magic in you."

My eyes widened "I'm a Demi-god?!"

Kayla nodded and I felt my mouth go dry in disbelief. The sun started to go down and the lights in the living room seemed to dim a little.

"Well I think it's about time we got you to the Hermes Cabin." Kayla said and took my hand, leading me outside.

I followed her towards a giant wooden cabin. She opened the door and walked inside, I followed her and was surprised to see a bunch of people in the cabin.

The kids in the cabin stop what they where doing and looked at me and Kayla.

"Claimed or undetermined?" One of the kids asked and Kayla replied by saying "undetermined."

The kids groaned and went back to doing what they where doing before we walked in. Kayla led me to a bunk bed in the corner of the cabin. "This will be your bed until your are claimed, make friends and stuff, and ask someone to show you around camp" Kayla said and then smiled sympathetically "you will get a less crowded cabin when you get claimed, unless your a daughter of Hermes."

She patted my back "I gotta go, I'll see you around Luna, bye."

"Bye Kayla" I said and we hugged before she walk off.

Suddenly two twin boys walked up to me "welcome to the Hermes Cabin!" They said while both shaking my hand.

"The names Conner Stoll, I'm the handsome twin" the twin on the left said "and I'm Travis Stoll, the awesome twin" the twin on the right told me.

"My names Luna, Luna Valkery" I told them and the looked at each other before they walked away with mischievous smiles on there faces.

I raised my eyebrow before sitting on the bed and looked around.

There where lots of kids milling around, but most of them had blonde hair and looked alike, like they where siblings. I assumed that they where the children of Hermes.

Suddenly a girl that looked about the same age as me walked up to me.
She had long, wavy, raven black hair and brown eyes so beautiful and deep that I thought that I could get lost in them.

"Hello, my name Alice, what's yours?" She slyly asked me and I smiled.

"My name is Luna, it's very nice to meet you Alice" I told her and she smiled.

I noticed that Alice was wearing a black baseball cap that had gray and white swirls on it, which was awesome. She was wearing a orange shirt with the words Camp Half-blood on it and dark blue jean shorts.

"I like your outfit" I told her and her smiled got wider.

"Did you know that it it capture the flag tonight?" She asked me and I shook my head.

"Whats capture the flag?" I asked confused.

"It's where the all the cabins make two teams and then try to steal the other teams flag" Alice told me.

"Oh, what team am I on?" I asked her.

"Well the Hermes cabin teamed up with the Athena cabin, Apollo cabin, Hecate cabin, Hades cabin, Pheme cabin, Nike cabin, Philotes cabin, Poseidon cabin, and a few more I can't remember." She told me with a smile.

I nodded "so what time is capture the flag?"

"Oh, it's after dinner, which is in a few minutes" Alice said and just then a bell rang and everyone in the Hermes Cabin started walking out side.

"Well I guess it's dinner right now" Alice said and took my hand "come on, we don't want to be late."

With that we walked outside and to a giant pavilion with a blazing fire. I sat down with the Hermes cabin and started chatting with Alice.
