Stefan

Oh I know Elena was surprised that I was already up and ready to go whenever she came into my room. She gave a gentle smile, as she always does, then want to make sure Jeremy was up and ready to go.
I got my bag and headed downstairs and I heard Aunt Jenna figure ground in the kitchen.
"Toast. I can make toast. "  She said looking up from the fridge and saw me.
" It's all about the coffee ant Jenna. "  Elena said grabbing a cup of coffee.
"Is there coffee?" Jeremy ice stealing Elena's cup. She sighed and got her another one offering me a cup along the way. I shook my head no and sat down looking at Jenna as she rambled.
"It's your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared. Lunch money?" She asked holding up a $20, which Jeremy took as me and Elena shook our heads no. "What am I missing? A number two pencil?" She joked.
" hey don't you have a presentation thing today?" Elena asked looking at her.
" yeah I meet with my thesis advisor at...NOW crap!"
" Go we'll be fine." Elena said looking at her. Jenna rushed out the door blowing us a kiss. Elena turned to look at Jeremy and me. "You okay?"
"Don't start." Jeremy scoffed and walked out.
I gave Elena a small smile and walked towards the garage. I was going to be riding my bike to school.  I didn't want to ride with anyone plus I love the feel burn in my thighs when I ride my bike.  As I went at a steady and slowish pace I noticed this guy walking in the same direction as the school on the other side of the street. Who is he? I've never seen him around before. He wore a black leather jacket dark jeans sun glasses and his hair was brownish well more like a caramel color actually. He was pretty cute but not my type. I quickly refocused my attention to pedaling when I felt myself tip a little bit.  Before long I had arrived at school and locked my bike up with the others. I looked around for Elena but instead got tackled into a hug by my BEST FRIEND OF ALL TIME!!! Caroline Forbes.
"How are you? Are you good?" She asked and I nodded my head as she wrapped her arm around me and lead us into the school. Caroline and I used be the it girls. I guess we still are but things have changed for me. I still cheer though but they don't make me say the words. I just do the moves and I'm good. I used to be cheer captain but after the accident I left that title to Caroline. Of course Elena is a cheer leader to but I'm pretty sure she's going to quite. As we walked down the hallways I pulled away from Care and looked towards Matt and she nodded. I left her and went up to Matt and smiled.
"Hey short stake. You good? " He asked pulling me into a hug I nod my head and looked at him silently asking if he was okay since Elena dumped him. He gave me a half smile and shrugged, but stopped when he looked over my shoulder. I turned slightly to see what he was looking at and saw Elena.  I shook my head no and looked back at Matt and sighed. She might be my sister but Matt is Matt he's our child hood best friend and she broke his heart. Which ruined my plans for him to be brother in law.
I tried to get him and Jeremy together once, the outcome was hilarious for me not for them. To bad they're both straight.  We walked down the hall in silence till we reached his class I waved by to him and continued to walk to mine when I bumped into someone.  I looked up and saw the one guy from earlier.
"I'm sorry I didn't see you." He rushed out . "I'm Stefan by the way." He said sticking his hand out for me to shake. I opened and closed my mouth repeatedly like a fish out of water. I wanted to say hi but I couldn't so I quickly just smiled and shook his hand. He looked so confused.
I quickly pulled back my hand as if it were on fire. The feeling I got from him, it was horrible, it felt like...Death.

Stepan's Pov

I saw her first this morning on the side walk, she was looking at me then, like she was confused.  And again just now. She had this brown hair and amazing green eyes. I apologized for running into her and told her my name. I needed to know hers but she didn't say anything just smiled and shook my hand. But as soon as she did she ripped it away from as if I burned her. I watched as her face contorted into absolute fear. I went to say something but she ran off. This girl.....
Could she be......no it's impossible...

Emma's POV

I ran, I don't know why but I did. I felt horrible I wanted to turn around and go apologize but I couldn't something in me warned me to stay away from him. I  feel like I'm going crazy. At least now I know his name.

Unknown POV

I watched her. From afar as she rode her bike to school. Her hair flying behind her and I could smell her delicious scent all the way from here. I could hear her blood pumping in her veins and it made me crazy. Oh Emmalina, you will be mine...

Emma's POV

It was after school and I was hanging out with Care and Bonnie. Caroline was going on and in about that Stefan guy.
"His name is Stefan Salvatore. He lives with uncle up at the old Salvatore Boarding House. He hasn't lived here since he was a kid. Military family, so they moved around a lot. He's a Gemini, and his favorite color is blue." I couldn't help but laugh at this. It was typical Caroline and her major stalking skills.
"You got all that from one day?" Bonnie asked her laughing with me.
"Oh, please, I got all that between third and fourth period. We're planning a June wedding." Care responded with a laugh of her own. Just then Vikie Donovan came over to take our orders. Thankfully she knew mine by heart. Vikie was the only one in town who didn't freak out about me going mute. Instead she quickly found a way to communicate with me without me having to talk. At first I was confused as to why she did that but it became clear she needed help with Tyler and since Ty and I used be best friends  (before he became a dick) I was able to help her a lot.
After Bonnie placed her order Matt came up to us and said hey. I quickly decided whatever this conversation was about I didn't want to hear it so I went to the bathroom.  After fixing myself I went back out only to see Elena and the new guy Stefan. I wanted my food but I didn't want to be near him.
"Hey Ems, looking good. Ever going to give this a shot? I mean it'll be worth your while. " Tyler smirked appearing out of nowhere. Deciding Stefan was better than this I quickly pushed ty away and went and sat down across from Elena and her toy and ate my food.
"Stefan this Emmalina my little sister." Elena said pointing towards me making me want to shrink further down in my seat. "Sorry about her she's shy." Elena lied. Wow sis to ashamed of me to tell him the truth about me being mute.

Stefan's POV
I could see the anger and disappointment on her face, on Emma's face... Emma.
It suits her. I'm still so confused by this, by her. Emma looks exactly like her. But how? It's not possible. I found out on my own that Emma is mute and that Elena is slightly embarrassed by her because of it. But Elena shouldn't be,  she should be trying to help her but they all have seemed to give up on her. I wonder why...
" So, you were born in Mystic Falls?" Caroline the blonde one asked.
" Mm-Hmm. And moved when I was still young." I lied easily.
"Parents?" Bonnie questioned.
"Passed away. "  That at least was the truth.
"I'm sorry. Any siblings?" Elena responded.
"None that I talk to." As soon as those words left my mouth Emma's head popped up and she looked confused.  She's so curious about everything and it reminds me of her...

Emma's POV
When he said that I got this strange feeling, it wasn't bad but it wasn't good. I don't know how to explain it, except for it left this empty feeling in my chest. Like I ached for Stefan but I don't even know the guy. I guess it's just cause I can't imagine not being with my siblings. I feel bad for judging him, I want to say sorry but I can't get the words out of my mouth.
Apparently I missed alot when I zoned out. Elena and Stefan apparently have a date. How I missed that I will never know.
