Seravene smiled slightly, looking up at the man she bumped into.

"You don't look alright. Here, let me help you up."

Seravene took his hand and stood, wiping the tears from her face.

"What happened, Xuè?"

"I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me and broke up with him."

"I know this doesn't change things, but I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"Can I at least take you to a place that will cheer you up?"

"I-I don't know. Zuno is at home and he might be awake."

"Sorry, Zuno?"

"Kazuno. He's the baby I found outside my door."

"Who would leave a child outside someone's door?"

"Don't ask me." Seravene sniffled. "Thank you for the offer, but I have to get back to him."

"Please? It will take fifteen minutes."

Seravene thought for a moment. She just broke up with Grant and she was already about to go out with a guy she just met. She had a baby at home to take care of, and she was about to break down again.

"Fine. Only fifteen minutes though."

The man smiled. "The name's Jonathan. Jonathan Chan."

"Seravene. Seravene Xiang."
