Prologue (Annabeth)

He kissed me! We had gotten immortality from the gods. Percy, the seven and us i mean! I was now the goddess of battle plans and he was the god of loyalty. After we got our immortality we came back down to Earth and back to Camp Half-Blood where we were all now leaders of certain things at camp. I was the leader of strategy and Percy and Jason shared the job of the arena leader. I was buzzing because we all finally got a break from doing chores for the gods. But after we had finished the day Percy walked me back to my cabin and kissed me!

"What happened?" Malcolm asked suspiciously. I rolled my eyes. "If something happened why should I tell you? I am counselor and i don't have to tell you anything that happened between Percy and I!" I said dangerously. Malcolm smiled evilly and said, "So it has something to do with Percy doesn't it?"

I turned scarlet. "Maybe." I mumbled. Before he could ask anything else I turned around and said to the rest of the cabin, "Lights out guys! I know Percy and Jason are going to work you guys to the max tomorrow so get enough sleep!" The cabin groaned but they all went and got ready for bed and in a few minutes I was telling a story to the younger campers.

"So Little Red Riding Hood went to her grandmas house but when she got there, there was a strange sight. Her grandma was on the bed like Red had suspected but her grandma looked different. 'What big ears you have!' Red told her grandma. 'All the better to hear you with my dear!' the grandma told the girl. 'What big eyes you have!' Red said. 'All the better to see you with!' her grandma exclaimed. 'What big teeth you have!' Red gasped jumping back. For the grandma wasn't Red Riding Hood's grandma. It was the wolf!" I finished.

"OK guys we've stayed up late enough. Time to go to bed!" I said. I picked up all the little campers and put them into their beds. "Goodnight guys." I said. I hopped into my head counselor bed and smiled at the ceiling thinking of Percy. I soon fell into a dreamless sleep.
