Reds POV
I walked to my bedroom in a hurry. Hopefully Papyrus won't realise I'm home. It would be so embarrassing for him to see me here with Sans. He'd probably tease me about it all week.
Sans followed while looking around the house with interest. I glanced at his cute and curious face before blushing and opening my bedroom door in a hurry.
"This is my room." I sat on the bed and waited for him to so the same. "Your house is really big." I nodded and he brought out his science books. "Where should we begin?"
~ time skip ~
I sighed as classic stood up to leave. "That was fun, we should do it again sometime." My heart fluttered, he actually wants to spend time with me! My face began to heat up as he smiled and handed me a slip of paper. "Here's my phone number, we can text about the project so we can meet up." I grinned stupidly and held it. "O-ok." I sounded really stupid but he didn't seem to notice.
I led him to the front door but it was raining heavily outside. "Do you have a coat?" He shook his head. "No but I'll be fine, a bit of rain won't hurt." Before I could reply a familiar car pulled up in the driveway and I face palmed. My brother was home.
He walked out the car with his usual sass and smirked at me with Sans. "WHAT'S CLASSIC DOING HERE?" he was mocking me in a teasing way and I clenched my fists. "We were just doing work." I said, slightly annoyed. "SUUUURRRREEEE YOU WERE."
I rolled my eyes and Sans waved at me before walking off. "See ya tomorrow." I called as he disappeared from view. Papyrus didn't say anything as he winked knowingly and I blushed."s-shut up." He shrugged and went into his room while I sat on the couch daydreaming about Sans. Today had been amazing.
~ the next day ~
Sans POV.
I held my books close to me as Error pushed me against the wall. "What's wrong nerd." He said spitefully. I quivered at his touch as his nails dug into my wrists creating small cut marks. Lust grabbed errors hand and pried him off me. "Calm down Error, why don't you lay off this lil cutie. He's mine~"
Error just huffed and walked off, probably to terrorise someone else. Lust looked into my eyes and I felt myself blush. "T-thanks." He smiled and walked off. "See ya later cutie~" I stood there like an idiot wondering what just happened before Red ran up to me.
"H-hey, how a-are you?" I snapped out of my daze and jumped slightly at his sudden appearance. "Yeah I'm fine." His eyes were glued to the floor in a nervous manner. "Why are you always so nervous?" He looked upwards at me and his face became a dark shade of red. "Um well i- its c-cause I lik-"
he stopped what he was saying and blushed intensely then said in a hurry. "Well look at the time I gotta go, bye" then he left while cursing at himself.
I laughed as he did, it was kinda cute. WAIT WHAT DID I JUST THINK. nope, nope, nope, nope. I quickly dismissed the random thought and sat down in class with a burning blush on my face.
~ 4 weeks later ~
"Are you excited for the dance?" Blue asked me with enthusiasm. "Sure." He swung upside down on the table we were on and giggled. "Who are you going with?" I shrugged. "Dunno, people have asked me already but I just don't like them. Who are you going with?"
He blushed and hid his face while I smirked. "Ooohh blues got a crush. Who is it?" He shook his head and covered his face with his hands. "I'm not gonna tell you, you're just gonna have to find out." "Okay fine, are we still going to the mall tonight, the dance is in only a few days time and I don't have anything to wear."
He nodded and looked at his watch. "I've gotta go, I'll see you tonight though. Bye." I waved and waited for Sci to come in. He sat down with a large blush on his face. "Are you ok, omg did someone ask you to the dance?" He nodded shyly and pulled his hood over to hid face. I jumped up with interest."who is it???"
".... Starry." (Outertale sans is called starry.) I squealed loudly. "Omg finally!!!!" "Who are you going with?" He asked with a smile. "No one, I don't really like the people that have asked me." I thought of Red, I wonder who he's going with? I suppose it didn't matter although the idea of him going with someone else made my stomach twist into a knot that made me feel awful.
I wonder why, do i like him? No! I defiantly don't we're just friends... right? Maybe I'm just sick, yeah that's probably it. The day went painfully slowly but I raced out at the end to meet blue. We strolled around the store and I decided on a dark blue dress covered in stars (I know sans is a boy but just go with it.) Blue eventually decided on a light blue dress and then we left.
~ the next day ~
I looked at the clock with eagerness, just one more day till the dance. The bell ringed and everyone rushed out of class. I speed walked to my locker and stopped abruptly as I saw a note on it, it read:
'Dear sans, meet me in the park at 4:00 pm today after school.'
I looked at it carefully, who sent it? I guess I'll only find out if I go.
I looked at my clock. 3:40 pm, shoot I should go now or I'll be late. I pulled on my old hoodie and slipped on some blue converses before heading out. I arrived at exactly 4:00 and looked around at the park which was lit with beautiful lights.
There was a ladder that led to the top of an tall tree and I climbed it out of curiosity. At the top I looked down and gasped happily. The lights were arranged in a position that spelled out.
Will you go to the dance with me? Love, Red.
I heared a leaf move next to me and an arm gently slithered round my waist. I looked over at Red with awe. "You did all of this for me?" He nodded while blushing furiously. "S-so, what do y-you say?" I smiled happily and pulled him in for a heartfelt kiss.
I felt my heart melt in joy and eventually we pulled away for air. "Yes." He grinned. "You're so beautiful." I blushed at his words and we sat in the tree watching the sunset while snuggling next to each other.
I think I'm in love.

Sans: ooooh that was so romantic, I still remember it even now.
Red: I have never felt so nervous in my whole life
Sans: now that's not true, remember how nervous you were when you proposed to me. You were shaking so much I thought you were going to have a heart attack!
Red: well it was very nerve wracking ok! You try asking the love of your life to stay with you forever. It's a big thing.
Sans: I'm only joking, I'm sure you felt very nervous. But I'm glad you asked me.
