Reds POV
I wasn't sure how long I'd been waiting but it felt like forever. Some of Sans's friends came to the hospital and were waiting with me. A nurse came out and I stood up in anticipation, my whole body shaking nervously. "Is h-he o-ok?" I hadn't spoken to anyone in about 3 hours so I hadn't realised just how dry my throat was. "He's... stable for now. You can go visit him if you like, he just woke up." I nodded and speed walked over to his room stopping at the entrance stightly. Please be ok.
I entered cautiously and when I saw him lying on the bed, covered in bandages I ran to his side, bursting into tears. He put a hand on my check tenderly and winced slightly from moving. "It's ok, thanks for saving me." This made me feel even more guilty and I hugged him gently, relieved to be with him. "I'm s-so so sorry. I s-should have been t-there sooner, I s-shouldn't have l-let you go. I-i..." He cut my rambling off with a smile. "I love you. This isn't your fault and it never will be no matter what you say. I was the foolish one, I was blinded by his falseness and fell for his lies. This is my fault, not yours."
Before I could respond the others came in and fussed over Sans, asking if he was ok. Sci even said that he was going to kill Lust if he ever saw him again but me and Sans explained how Lust was defiantly never going to bother anyone again. After hours of talking the others went home and just left me and Sans. The latter was looking down guiltily. "What's wrong?" He stayed silent for a minuet before saying. "I... I killed him. I killed him with my own hands. I'm such a bad person." I grabbed his hands and looked him in the eyes. "You did what you had to do, we might not even be alive of you hadn't killed him and you didn't mean to, you shouldn't feel guiltily about that." He nodded sorrowfully and I sighed, resting my head on his gently. "We have each other, and that's all we'll ever need." He smiled slightly and we stayed like that till we fell asleep, resting in each others arms comfortably.
