Chapter 6

*Maria's POV*

When I finally woke up I knew I broke a couple out my ribs. I saw lots of red and white flashing lights. I was inside the ambulance with the back door open. I was in so much pain it was unbearable. I couldn't even move. Suddenly Joey walked up to me and jumped into the ambulance. In my head I was thinking "how did he know about the accident." But then, I was also thinking, "That is so sweet." I knew that Joey didn't like me, but I really liked him. He then asked me if I was okay. I was so shocked to see, that my huge crush was asking me if I was okay! I replied with, "I'm fine I guess." He said, "I love you," I couldn't breathe, because the love of my life said he loves me. "I love you too, I said. His phone rang with a call from Kylie. "Hello," he answered. Kylie said, "How is Maria? Is she okay? What happened? Where is she? Did she brake any bones? Can she still do karate?" "Can I say a word!" Joey replied. She is fine, just hurt. She broke 3 ribs and her left arm. I interrupted, "can you tell her to come?" I asked. "Of course!" He told her to come. "She said she is on her way,"Joey mentioned.

*Joey's POV*

I couldn't believe that I confessed to Maria that I loved her. How did I do that? I thought to myself. I knew it was the perfect time though. She was in so much pain and I couldn't wait to tell her. I wanted to go out with her but it seemed to early. When Kylie called me, she wouldn't let me talk. I have been asking Kylie if I should go out with Maria, and she said yes! But I never had the courage to ask her.
