Chapter 7

Kylie's POV

I was so scared. Maria had been my best friend for like 5 years and I was worried about her. But I have a feeling Joey's not the right one for Maria. I don't know what it is but he doesn't seem so perfect on the inside.

*Maria's POV*

I looked at Joey and he looked at me. Then, I realized something. Joey's pupils were bloodshot red. It was really weird! I yelled, "get off of me, why are your eyes bright red?" Even though I knew exactly what was up with him. He stood up and quickly fell over. This was exactly what I thought! Joey the one I fell in love with was drunk.

*Joey's POV*

As soon as Maria told me to stand up I knew I blew it. I blew my chances with Maria. The last thing I remember was, having Maria yell, then, me standing up and passing out. I woke up to the screams of Lily. She was screaming at me. Yelling about how, she is so mad at me. Telling me that if I broke Maria's heart, she would break his face. I stood up when I saw 2 police officers. I knew I was in deep because I was only 19. 2 years below the drinking limit. The two police officers picked me up of the floor, and walked me to the police car. I was in too deep this time!
