Chapter 7

Tao runs into the door out of breath. He closes the door and looks over at Suho and I.

"I haven't ran that fast in three years." Tao leans back on the door, trying to catch his breath as we are bursting into fits of laughter.

"Is Chanyeol back?" Baekhyun walks into the room.

"No. He won't be back until after dinner." I sigh and look at Baekhyun.

Baekhyun looks downt at the floor and sighs. He walks out of the room and back to where he was. Suho scoffs and shakes his head.

"This kid," he says quietly before yelling. "Exo-K, Chen."

Chen and all Exo-K members, except Chanyeol and Kai who aren't here, come out of different rooms.

"Yes?" they all ask Suho.

"Get ready." Suho smiles. "We are going shopping."

Tao, who was laying on the ground all sprawled out, stands up. "With me!"

They chuckle. Baekhyun, Chen and Sehun grin at each other then play kai, bai, bo. Chen lost.

"Okay Disney princess, lead the way to the magical boutique in your royal carriage." Chen remarks with a smirk.

Everyone starts laughing really hard except for Tao and me. I look at Tao.

"What is a Disney princess?"

"It's this image of a perfect woman playing main roles in fairytales. Ask Chanyeol to show you some movies tonight." He glares at Chen.

"Okay, then. I will lead the way, I guess." I go to walk out the door but am stopped by D.O

"I think Tao should lead the way, your highness. He does shop a lot." D.O points out.

I nod and gesture Tao out the door first. He walks out, bowing his head to me as a thank you. I walk out next followed by everyone else, having Suho walk out last since he had the keys to lock the door. Suho locks the door before we all walk out. 

After about an hour of shopping, we have ten bags for me and about fifteen bags for Tao. Like I have said, he likes to shop. On our way home, Tao gets a phone call. Once he answers, his smile fades and his bags drop. He stops mid walk, making the others stop and turn to look at him. He hangs up, hands his bags to Chen, along with mine.

"Chaejin, Suho, Sehun and I have to go. Go to my house. The spare key is on top of the door frame, hidden in plain sight," Tao says to Chen then grabs Suho's wrist and my hand and starts walking away.

"Where are we going? Who was the phone call from?" I ask as I look behind me to see Sehun running behind Tao, Suho and me.

"The phone call was from Luhan. Kris just got an arrow to the knee by one of Sehun's gang members, trying to get the point across to Luhan and Sehun that they can't quit." Tao's eyes show that he is furious with this gang and their actions.

We stop at a random building then head inside. We go up two flights of stairs before stopping in front of a random door. Suho tries to open the door but it's locked.

"Move," Tao says letting go of both, me and Suho.

Tao takes a deep breath then kicks the door, making it swing open.

"I see you've been practicing your martial arts skills here on earth," I say, walking into the house to be met with a frightened Xiumin.

"Lay should be here any time now," Xiumin says pulling me over to a bed in a different room.

Kris is laying on the bed with gritted teeth and an arrow right above his left kneecap. I nod and sigh.

"Everyone out of the room except Xiumin and Kris," I say looking at Kris, then Xiumin once everyone leaves. "Do you have a rubber band, towels, an ace bandage, needle and thread?"

He nods and runs off. A few minutes later, he comes back with everything. I put the rubber band around Kris' thigh after pulling out the arrow. Lay comes running in the room right as I put a towel on the wound.

"Chaejin-ah, hold Kris' and. I got the rest." Lay looks at me.

"Okay." I sit on Kris' right side and take his hand in mine.

Lay removes the towel and grabs Kris' leg to look closer at the wound but as soon as he grabs Kris' leg, his hands and the wound start to glow a yellowish color. Lays eyes widen when this happens. Kris, who stopped gritting his teeth and squeezing my hand to death, looked in just enough time to see Lays hands glowing. Lay looked at Kris then back to his leg. He pokes where the wound was and looks back at Kris to see his reaction but Kris just shakes his head as if to say he feels no pain. Lay then looks at me with wide eyes (A/N: Yixook) then looks at his hands. He looks up again as everyone rushes in.

"It got silent so we wanted to see if everyone was okay," Suho says, out of breath.

"No, I'm shook," Lay says in M dialog or Mandarin Chinese.

Suho and Sehun, who know enough Mandarin to get by, look at everyone with puzzled looks as we are laughing so hard that we are crying.

"He said he's shook," Xiumin said to Sehun and Suho in K dialogue, or Korean.

Sehun and Suho then start laughing. Once they stop, Lays right hand starts glowing. I point at his hand and as he holds his hand, palm down, up to look at it, it turns black. He shows me revealing what looks like a unicorn. I smile, looking at it.

"I guess they're saying that you're like a unicorn." I laugh slightly.

"Who?" Lay looks puzzled.

"The gods." I roll my eyes and smack the back of his head.

"Oh." He nods. "That makes sense."

I sigh, putting my hand on my head, looking down and shaking my head. I smile and look back up. I look at Xiumin. "So, is this Kris' house?"

"No." Xiumin smiles. "It's mine."

I sigh and shake my head. "Minnie, you could have done so much better," I tsk.

"It was the cheapest I could find." He looks at his feet.

"Well at least you're safe."

He nods, looking up with a smile then me. "I knew you'd understand."

"Minseok." I struggle in his grip. "Let go."

"Sorry." He quickly lets go. "Do you all want coffee? I'm buying."

We all agree and follow Xiumin out of his house and to the coffee shop that he goes to called Sweet Rose Tea and Coffee House. (A/N: This coffee shop is from another book of mine)
