Chapter 8

"It's getting late," I say looking at the night sky. "I should go back to Chanyeol's place."

I grab my coat that was sitting between me and Tao.

"By yourself?" Xiumin and Suho practically yell out their question.

"No," Someone says behind me. "I'll take her home."

I turn around to see Kai and Chanyeol standing beside eachother.

"Chanyeol, Kai." I smile and hug them both. "What are you two doing here?"

"Well I got off at 3:30 so I went to Chanyeol's restaurant and waited for him to get off work. He then decided to go try and find you all and about that time, Baekhyun messaged me, answering my text from when I got off work. He said you all were in this cafe called Sweet Rose Tea and Coffee house. So here we are." Kai smiles at me but then gets smacked by Chanyeol.

Kai flinches and makes a pouty face while rubbing his arm where Chanyeol smacked.

"You weren't supposed to tell her about Baekhyun messaging you." Chanyeol playfully glares. "You were supposed to say that you could just tell."

I laugh at them. "Okay then." I yawn as a signal that I'm getting sleepy. "Let's go, Chanyeol."

I walk out and start walking on the sidewalk. Chanyeol walks out soon after and starts laughing.

"Princess!" He yells, making me turn my head to the left. "Come back."

I walk back to him and he opens a door to a weird looking contraption.

"Get in." He smiles.

"What is this?" I sit in the thing.

"It's a car. It is a way to get around and is faster than walking." He sits in the seat beside mine.

Kai climbs into the back seat, smiling as he does so.

"What are you doing, Kai?" Chanyeol asks, keeping his eyes straight forward as he starts the car and starts driving.

"Hitching a ride." He shrugs. "What's it look like?"

Chanyeol sighs. "Why don't you get a ride from Baekhyun or Xiumin or someone?"

"But, hyung, I want to hang out with you and Chaejin-ah."

"Fine." Chanyeol grumbles.

The whole way home was silent. Chanyeol parked the car and got out. Kai also got out and opened my door for me. We walk in the apartment after I gave Chanyeol the key that Suho gave to me. Kai sits down on the couch as I walk into the bathroom and Chanyeol walks into his bedroom. A few minutes later, we both walk out and almost run into eachother. My eyes go wide as do his.

"I'm sorry, princess." He bows and as he does so, his lips graze my left cheek.

My eyes widen more, if that's possible, and my heart beat quickens as I realize if I turned my head to the left, he would have stolen my first kiss. On Exo Planet, if someone steals a girls first kiss then that man has to marry that woman. We had a watch that counts down an estimated time of when we will get married. That's part of the reason I ran away from home; my watch hit zero.

"It's alright." I stutter silghtly as I walk into the living room with Chanyeol following behind.

"Wanna have a movie night?" Kai asks while sitting on the couch.

I smile and Chanyeol walks over and sits on Kai's left. My smile turns into a smirk as I get an idea. I walk over to Kai and sit on his lap but turn and lay my head on Chanyeol's lap. They both chuckle as Kai turns on a movie. I yawn once again before drifting to sleep.

I suddenly wake up to the sound of frantic knocking. I sit up and push myself off of Kai's stomach. He groans in his sleep. I walk over to the door and open it to see a worried looking Baekhyun. I sigh and let him in.

"Two things. One, what time is it? And two,What's wrong?" I ask, rubbing my eye sleepily with my fist.

"One, it is 5:30 a.m. and two, I'm scared."

"Of what?"

He holds out his closed fist in the dark room. He opens his hand and light lights up the whole room projecting from his hand.

"Turn off the light." Kai grumbles in his sleep.

Baekhyun closes his hand and reopens it to see there is no light but what is like a weird star on his left wrist.

"Interesting." I say, now wide awake.

"Who are you talking to, princess?" Chanyeol rubs his eyes.

I look over at the clock that now says 6 o'clock. "Baekhyun came. He now has a power."

"Ah, what is it? How'd he get it?" Chanyeol asks with sleep evident in his voice.

"Light. I got it at three this morning. I had gotten up to get a drink. I stuck my hand out in front of me since it was dark and a light came out of my hand," Baekhyun says.

"Ah, that's pretty cool," Chanyeol says slightly dozed off. "So you're like a human flashlight?" he asks before letting out a snore.

I smirk at Baekhyun and get on the couch, putting my mouth against Chanyeol's ear.

"Sweetie," I whisper. "It's time to get up."

He groans. "Five more minutes, babe."

"Babe?! What the?! I ain't your babe." I back away from his ear and yell.

He opens one eye as he has a big grin. He grabs me around the waist and turns me to where I'm laying on the couch with him. Kai, who woke up when I yelled, smirked at Chanyeol's actions as Baekhyun starts chuckling. Chanyeol puts his head to where his lips are touching my ear, just like how I did.

"Of course you are my babe, babe." He says quietly in a somewhat seductive voice. "In fact you're mine and will always be mine."
