"Blue!" Orange called. She ran closer to him. "I won't hurt you, don't worry." She promised. She held his hand. "Gah!" Blue shrieked as he melted and disapeared. There he was, back at the base. Orange giggled. "Oops, forgot that happens. We can't make physical contact, I guess." She nervously said, scratching the back of her head. "We can't even...do this?" Blue said to her, leaning in for a kiss. Orange blushed with embarrassment as her eyes widened. But she didn't hesitate to lean in to him and make the kiss last even longer. She pulled away from him, both of them blushing and nervously panting. "Whoa..." Orange said under her breath. "Blue, I think I like you more than just a friend." She giggled nervously under her breath. Blue very lightly grinned and took a deep breath. Orange looked at her timer. "30 seconds left." She said. "But w-we...will I even ever s-see you again!?" Blue whimpered. "Hopefully." Orange chuckled. The 30 seconds flew by. "5...4...3...2...1...GAME!!" Marie shouted. Every squid paused in their tracks. Judd the cat counted up the scores. "And the blue team WINS!!" He chanted, pouting to the blue side of the battle stage. All 3 blue squids cheered and thanked each other for doing such a good job. Nobody thanked Blue, since he didn't do anything. Just then, Orange ran up to him. "Congrats, buddy!" She said, reaching in to shake his hand. He pulled away. "Hey! You're gonna kill me, again!" He jolted. "Not outside the battle, silly." Orange laughed. "Oh..." Blue said. Orange hugged him and kissed him, again. "See you soon...Blue." She winked. She walked away, leaving Blue standing there. "Our relationship escalated pretty quickly." Blue thought to himself.
