The Day Of Albri' s Murder .

Blood painted the concrete ground, as my vision tried to focus on the crimson color. My legs felt like Jello as I wobbled holding the wall of a rusty building next to me, the sounds of the night haunted me as I walked towards the scene. Fear filled my body as I spotted Albri's pink and diamond tote. Blood stained the leather as I looked at it in questioning.

Where is she?

Tears welled up in my eyes as I seen a shoe-- a gold heel boot. I stopped in my tracks. I knew what she was wearing. I knew it was her. A chill went down my spine, not wanting it to be real. Next thing you know it I was running down Niel street in an alley. I stopped to catch my breath on a concrete wall by a garbage bin. Tears streamed down my cheeks. Life went motionless, like I was moving but I wasn't.

Fishing out my cell phone in between sobs I dialed 9-1-1.

"Sunnyville Police Department. How may I help you?"

"I'd like to report a murder..."

He killed her. In cold blood. Her spirit was no longer here, my best friend was no longer here. The one I confided in.

She was gone. How could I deal with this?

I hung up the phone after giving out my location. I felt my heart drop as I heard the police sirens minutes later. I just stood there, garbage bin holding my weight. I was shaking. I looked at my hands as I found the energy to move from the smelly garbage. My hands were stained with blood, I peered at my shaky hands wanting to forget all that happened. We fought for awhile but not without a fight. He wore a ski mask, somehow Albri knew who he was.

What was I going to do? He might be coming for me next. He might kill me, even worst.

I took off running in my heels to my car as I scrambled to open the door. As soon as I got in the driver's seat, I sped off going home. I was definitely speeding, and I was in fear of getting pulled over, but I kept going anyway. Tears stained my cheeks in agony.

Why did I just leave?

She told me to. She told me to run and never look back. Why? What was she running from?

I stopped in front of my house staring out the front window at nothing. My mind raced and my heartbeat thumped out of my chest. Tears leaking from my eyes like a waterfall as I took my anger out on the wheel as I banged on it repeatedly.

What was I going to do?

Minutes later ending my rage I got out of the car stumbling to the front door. My legs still felt like jello, I could barely stand. If someone was watching me they would think I was drunk.

I made it in the house to find Gage and the girls on the couch. Alarmed expressions looked at me in confusion and fear.

They didn't have a clue...

Blood tarnished my clothes, and my cheeks were muddy with mascara. My hair probably looked a mess. Shit I was a mess.

Gage came to me quickly.

"What the fuck happened to you?"

I stuttered out words that wasn't making sense as Gage sat me on the couch and told the girls to go to their room.

"What happened baby?"

"Albri is dead!"

**************

"I want you to leave! I want you to run! I want you to run like your ass is on fire Carter!" Albri yelled to me in agony.
