Halli's P.O.V

"Hey guys, I'm really tired, I'm going to go to bed now, Alex, what's our room number?" I asked, I couldn't seem to stop yawning, my eyelids kept flickering in and out of reality.

"103, and I think I'll join you, I'm sleepy too", Alex warmly replied, we started walking down the oddly patterned corridor to our room, with bags flung over and guitars in our hands. We reached room 103 and swiped the door handle with the key card. The door opens and in front of us was... A double bed.

"I thought we booked a twin room, not a double", I exclaimed, putting the bags down on the floor into a unorganised pile of confusion.

"What do you want to do? I'll sleep on the floor if you want."

"No, no, it's fine, we can both sleep in the double bed if that's okay with you", I told him, to be quite honest, I really didn't mid sharing a beds with Alex; kind of wanted to.

"That's cool with me, but I don't have any pjs..." Alex mumbles just loud enough for me to hear the words escape his lips.

"It's okay, as long as you have underwear!" I looked over at Alex and winked, a little smirk spreads across his face, he looked perfect, his perfect smile, his perfect eyes, his perfect ginger quiff. These kinds of thoughts were staring to become more frequent and stronger; I couldn't forget them, they were always there.

"I'm going into the bathroom to put my pjs on and stuff, I'll be out in a minute."

Alex's POV

I stacked the guitars in the corner and started to get undressed, folding my jumper, shirt and trousers neatly. Halli emerged from the bathroom wearing some David And Goliath pug pjs that I bought her for her birthday, she delicately hops over the suitcases and into bed. I quickly joined her. After a few clicks a burning bright image appeared on the TV, perfect - it was X Factor. We tended to watch it just for the irony factor, we found it absolutely hilarious. Halli's musical giggle filled the cold ocean air surrounding us as another terrible Brendon Urie wannabe exited the stage in tears with completely obvious 4 no's. She placed her head on my bare chest, her blonde hair tickled me once more. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder - this was the closest we had ever been, and I really really liked it - I could feel her gentle breathing against my chest.

"Hal? Are you awake?" I whispered softly in her ear, she simply responded with a little smirk. I flicked X Factor off, submerging us into complete and utter darkness, with just the reflection of the moon on the sea to light the world around me. Halli awakes and sits upright, waiting for me to relax again to resume our previous state.

"Ready for bed now?" I asked her, her wonderfully coloured eyes met mine - they were a combination of every colour under the sun - informing me that she wanted to enter a world of slumber.

"Yep, are you sure you're comfortable sleeping in the same bed?"

"I'm fine as long as you are."

Halli returned back to her original position, her head locked onto my chest, her hand rested next to her blonde locks. It was perfect, the whole moment. I couldn't stop feeling these strange emotions I'd never felt before, and to be frank, I didn't want to stop. I didn't know what this feeling was, but I quite liked it. It was probably just the lack of sleep messing with my head. Or at least that's what I thought at first.
