If you are tired of entering contests only to lose to others because your story was not as popular or well known as some, then this is the place for you.
But we will warn you. This contest is not for the faint of heart.
Oh no--if you want to place in this contest, you need to BRING IT!
And by that, we mean, we want to see your best work.
What we are looking for:
Stories that are...
~Written without grammatical mistakes. We will overlook a few here and there but otherwise, if it's not up to par, it will not make it past round one. Sorry.
~ An engaging read. We want your story to bounce from the pages and have us salivating for more. Give us characters that are genuine and real and well--engaging.
~ Plot. We are looking for stories that are different, but we also love a good cliche when done right with a few twists and turns that keep us INTERESTED and GUESSING.
~Flow/pacing. We are looking for stories ripe with descriptives and without info dumps that bog down the story.
~Dialogue (if applicable). We are wanting dialogue that is witty and realistic, not forced.
~Overall story structure. From beginning to the end (or till where you have updated) we want to be entertained, engrossed in your words, descriptives, your characters.
All stories must be in English.
