Legendary 80s pop singer, Prince, died on April 21st (one day after my birthday) 2016 because of an accidental drug overdose.
One of Princes greatest hits is called 'Let's Go Crazy' and at the beginning it has somewhat of a talking part that goes like this:
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life. An electric word that means forever and that's a mighty long time but I'm here to tell you there's something else. Thee afterworld. A world of never ending happiness. You can always see the sun, day or night. So when you call up that shrink in Beverly Hills, you know the one, doctor 'everything's gonna be alright' instead of asking how much time out have left ask him how much of your mind, baby. Because in this life, things are much harder in the afterworld. In this life, you're on your own. And if the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy. Punch a higher floor."
Obviously this is all about life and death and what not...however how odd that his song about life and death reference 'when the elevator tries to bring you down' meanwhile Prince died and was found in his elevator in his home.
