(Reader's pov)

It's been several weeks since the attack, Shaggy was almost fully healed both Alixia and Alexandria were well healed making the best of a bad situation. "Fall is a week away," Alixia says to him both one night as the ate a deer that Alexandria brought home, "We know we have to get ready to start stalking up food," Shaggy says as he stares at his food, "We will have plenty of time to get food before winter." This forest is not like most though most are tropical and hardly see a winter this one rides right on the edge of being a frozen wasteland in the winter. Alexandria looks at them both, "We could migrate like most animals," she suggests as she takes a bite of the meat, ripping it from the bone, Shaggy laughs, yea and start over in unknown lands yea right," as he says it He is thinking though he does not want to lose his land it wouldn't be a bad idea for a fresh start, "Your such an ass Shaggy!" Alixia exclaimed. They all laugh for a while then finish the meal and head to sleep being late, Shaggy takes the couch giving the girls the room and soon they all drift off into a deep sleep, Shaggy's night terrors have not been kind having not let up at all, he still can't figure out who is in them they are only in a few but that's enough to drive him mad.

(Alixia's pov)

Her eyes open to see the sun shining on the walls, "Must be close to noon," she thinks as she stretches and gets up, she goes to the bathroom and splashes her face with water, she looks up and sees Shaggy in the door watching her, "Why are you staring at me Shaggy?" She asks as she walks to him and kisses him. The last time she kissed him was a few weeks ago after one of his night terrors, but this one was different, it was worse he couldn't stop screaming and was lashing out slicing up the bed with his claws even hitting her arm, he didn't cut her deep but she was worried about him more than her arm she stayed there all night with him till he relaxed. She melted into his kiss before breaking it and walking to the main room Shaggy not far behind, she sits down on the couch and looks at the window. "It would not be a bad thing to start over you know." She says looking at Shaggy, he looks back and sighs, "I know, but where would we go?" She thought about it for a while, "Well do we know anyone that we could go to until we find out?"

(Shaggy's pov)

"Well I have a friend that I'm sure would help but.." He trails off. Yeah he knows someone but Walt lives in the city and they had not left off on the best of terms, Shaggy had left the city and basically disappeared for many years, he didn't know if Walt would be too happy to see him but he figures it couldn't hurt.

He sighs and smiles at Alixia, "Ok next week we can go but let's talk to Alexandria because we have to go to the city and I am not sure how she will take it." He gets up going to the window looking out.

(Alexandria's pov)

She can see a deer out by the lake, she is close by ready to strike, she waits till the right moment lunging at the deer she catches it by the hind legs, as it tries to escape she drags it to the ground pinning it down snapping its neck quickly so it doesn't suffer. She stands to look up at the sky wondering what's going on at the cabin, or what Jasper might be doing if he is ok. She begins to drag the deer back to the cabin walking slow not quite ready to go back, she wants to leave this place and start anew but she knows Shaggy won't go for it, she heard stories when she was young, her mom talked of all the buildings made of weird material strong like stone and weapons that shoot stone-like objects, she wants to see this place of mysterious things one day. She gets to the cabin she hangs the deer up with rope and begins to skin and gut it, she hears the door open she turns and see Shaggy walking to her. She smiles, "Well you look like crap," she jokes with him continuing to clean the deer, she notices he looks like he has something on his mind, "What's up Shaggz?" She asks. He smiles at her, "Have you heard of the city?"
