ÂÂ Suggestion: play the song at the reader's pov.
Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. To forget time, to forget life, to be at peace."
-Oscar Wilde, The Canterville Ghost(Alixia's pov)
Waking up in a brightly lit room she feels her head throbbing, no idea where she is she tries to get up noticing her wrists and legs tied to a table. Looking around she can see five others standing around in the room but they are covered in fur, with ears, snouts, and tails she starts to scream in fear as they realize she is awake and comes over to her. Shaggy is the first to reach her, "Alixia can you hear me?" Shaggy asks looking at her. She doesn't know who he is or who Alixia is she starts to scream again, Alexandria lifts a finger and she can no longer yell, she can breathe but no sound can come out. "What's wrong with her she looks like she doesn't even know us like we are monsters?" Jasper asks Walt. "She seems to have lost her memory and is in her human form and she can't see her tail or ears so to her we are monsters," Shaggy says sadly, she watches as they talk about her but she doesn't understand what they meant. Tears filling her eyes she closes them laying her head back, wishing she could remember something..anything.
(Jasper's pov)
Looking down at Alixia seeing a blank slate in her eyes, her memories gone he can't help but begin to cry, though her memories were gone he would not give up on her, for his heart won't let him.
"It would be dreadfully ironic,"
he mused if once he earned a soul, he forgot everything about being fey, including all my memories of her. That sort of ending seemed appropriately tragic; the smitten fey creature becomes human but forgets why he wanted to in the first place. Old fairy tales loved that sort of irony.Unable to hold back the tears he sits down in the chair just letting it all out.
(Benji's pov)
He knows what Jasper is feeling, his father lost his memory by the time he was twenty, sighing he goes to Jasper and stands next to him, knowing he will talk when ready. Thinking of the battle to come he wonders who else will lose a loved one, looking around he watches as everyone is in a state of loss, most lost a friend, some losing the love lost with the memories. "When do we leave?" He asks Walt softly. "We will leave in the morning tomorrow after we find somewhere to keep her and after we rest," Walt replies. The door opens behind them, looking back he can see a calico cat come in he looks shorter than most, his fur black and orange his eyes a bright yellow.
