III. THE NOTEBOOK

"Peter, Peter, wake up." As susan wakes him as he caught sleeping on the boat.(again)
the sun is going up as the light spreads. they both go inside and had breakfast when Lucy and the twins is ready to leave for work and school. "How are you peter? How's the night in the boat? Is everything good?" Susan asked.
Peter just nodded and smiled while finishing his plate, "well you will have a session for tomorrow, if you are ready we will have a doctor checked for you. And a psychiatrist for your memory". Lucy added. As they finish breakfast , peter noticed the twins doing their homework for school he approaches them. But in no reason the two run into the car. like they are afraid of him. he was so weirded about it and just sat on the old sofa while Lucy and Susan stares at him. "Don't mind them darling, they are just confused of what is happening to you" Lucy explained while approaching peter and handed him a two pills of medicine, "here take this, it will help you recover in no time". Peter takes it and ask Lucy "can you explain more about me? I want to hear it again maybe it can help remember more things about me, last night you and mom told me many stories and i felt like i know what you are both saying. So maybe it will help if you added some," Peter insisted.
"Well then, if you remember, again we are high school lovers. We got married last year, ofcourse we don't have any money for now so here we are at your mom's house, you have a work at the city at the construction and saving a money for a small apartment or a house in the city. But i don't really know where that money went. Well that's it, if you want to ask anything just ask. I can't tell the whole story about your life, it's too long and so funny to discuss" Lucy explained while laughing. As expected Peter cannot remember anything. Suddenly Susan grab the hands of peter and says. "The important now my son is you are okay, and you will start a new life".
"I just want to discover more about myself.." Peter said.

Lucy and the twins left the house

"Hey son, cut off a maple tree we don't have woods for fire. It's starting to get cold again," Susan said.

"Alright"
Then peter grabs the axe in the storage at the back. And start finding a suitable tree to bark. Finds a old tree he barks the it, and start to so some other outside chores, he then saw susan at the bridge at the lake standing in a weird position and singing again that weird song from last night, "Hey mom! You're scaring me" peter shouted. susan continues to sing and then looks to peter and smiles and slowly walks back to the house.

"Weird. Is that really my mom? What is really happening.?!" He follows susan at the house.
"What was that mom? Are you alright?"
"Yes my son. Yes my son. Yes my son" susan continuously saying,
So peter just ignores it and just continues his chores.

Nearly dawn. Peter set up a fire in the fireplace while susan cooks for dinner,
Lucy and the twins arrived.
"Its long weekend, we're gonna enjoy it."lucy approaches.
They ate dinner and chat. While peter obviously staring and observing his mom.

At the bedroom peter asks lucy,
"What is happening to mom? I just saw her i while ago so weird. What is happening?"

"Peter, you're mom is old. Old people you know."
Lucy explained.

Before they go to sleep, peter took a shower. He noticed again another writings, this time at the back of the doors. "GET OUT-P" he notices again that it has "P" on it.
"Hey Lucy, what is this?"

"I don't know hon, just take a shower, don't mind it" peter again thinks he has something to do with these, and there is a story with these writings. So he planned to find more writings around the house, so he let everyone sleep before he moves. He grabs a flashlight and started on the bottom of the bed along to the windows of the room and end up to the broken cabinet. He saw a pile of papers, and finds a black notebook that has "P" cover on it, he knows he owned this notebook. As he opens the first page, he saw a picture of himself wearing a white suit. And the same copy of the calling cards that he finds yesterday at the same cabinet, he flips it and reads
"Peter M. Guine" on it. He continued reading at the second page he discovers that its a diary. as he supposedly, His. He was shocked when he reads the content of it.

"January 24th

Its a rough day at the office, finally they approved the project of a another building at Blaine city. I did have something in my mind to celebrate that includes going out to pop's and going out fishing this weekend hopefully my desk will not be full so i can manage."

Peter tried to write in a piece of paper to compare his handwriting to this notebook, and it matches. No doubt It's his diary. He continued reading till the second page.

"January 25th"

Good thing i do my files early so i can catch up with the gang, i left my laundry to my assistant Lucy and gives a little tip for her. Her family was weird i guess she........

Then suddenly "hey hon, what are you doing? Go back to bed" Lucy shouted, peter hides the notebook under the cabinet. And quickly walks to the bed and pulls back the blanket, Opens his eyes while his heart beats so fast, many thoughts were on his mind on that time. What is real identity, what is the meaning of the stories on the diary. He want to know more about what's on the diary without the family knowing that he's investigating. All night long, as peter closes his eyes he fell asleep. And
he dreams about on a bridge in the lake, he's looking at a large lightbulb at the end of the wooden bridge The light bulb was busted and he keeps running through it and he can't reach it. And in his dreams he was just crying and crying he wakes up sweating like he's been to bath.
