Kristin was only 22 at the time. She was a pretty, interesting and most of all a brave lady, who always followed her heart. Kristin was only a baby who can't even walk and talk properly when both her parents passed away by the great war. The Second World War.
People will always be different, so they had a lot of different perspectives of their own. Some felt pity for her. Some hated her, for being an orphan. And some adored her for her bravery and obviously, her looks ... some even used to call her the cursed child for the reason you will obviously guess.

Today was one of her adventures days. She was finally going to board on a ship. It was her first time to even get out of the country. She was very excited. She's been saving up for this almost for the past 2 years, and it was finally the day.

Her feet left the ground as she heard the sound of the ship. She was a little confused when she saw it. She wondered why there was a word written on it, with black and silver colors that sparkled from very far as light strikes it. The word that had made Kristin curious was, HOPE.

Almost after one hour, the ship was ready to begin its journey. Kristin was never scared like this in her entire life nor was she ever excited like this. She felt like her life depended on the ship and also the captain whom she didn't even know is in his right mind. And she kept on telling her self to be optimist about this. And she thought of The last word she read, and she thought it was a sign for her to have hope as she stepped her feet on the ship.

She was excited to be traveling like this for z first time! She saw everything with excitement! The drawings on the wall of it, the rooms and much more. After almost three hours she got bored of the ship already, as she usually does on everything. She always liked seeing and trying new things. That was the excuse she always gives for her being bored of things quickly. But the reason for this one was that she was a little disappointed, for not having any best friend whom she can call mine and enjoy all this amazing things with.

She just grabbed a chair and sat next to the window where she can get to see the ocean. And she just felt sad and depressed as she hasn't talked to anybody for almost seven hours. She hasn't said even a word. She felt like she has lost her ability to talk. She was almost about to cry when she heard a voice.
"Hey, I'm sorry you look like your own your own"
And it sounded like a lady talking.
Kristin who didn't believe this, didn't even bother to turn around and check if the lady was taking to her or not. Because the probability of the voice she heard being the voices in her mind or said to somebody else was very high. And suddenly a hand touched her on her shoulders. Still wondering if she was dreaming, Kristin turned around to see What was going on.
"I'm sorry, you looked like you are alone if I'm not wrong?"
"No you're right" replied Kristin since she had no idea what else to say.
"Well, if you don't mind you can join us for dinner"
"I would love that but what about your friends, Will they not mind?"
"No, they won't. I know them very well."
"Ok then if you say so."
"Oh and I forgot, I'm Francisca"
Kristin didn't say anything for seconds until she noticed the way Francisca was looking at her. In the way of saying what about you.
"Oh, I'm Kristin"she said finally.
Francisca took her to the place where her 8 friends were standing talking and laughing with champagnes on their hands.
"Ladies this is, Kristin, my new friend. She'll be joining us for dinner."Francisca said. Then Kristin immediately added.
"If you don't mind!"
All of them started laughing  in a mannerly way as she said this and one said,
"It's okay, Kristin. We won't mind!" With a very welcoming smile on her face. Kristin was happy with the feeling she just made new friends.
After a hour or two, she got to know all of them very well. All of her fears suddenly disappeared. And for outsiders she didn't look like a stranger who just joined them for dinner but instead, she looked like an old friend who used to know them all very well.
