Pure love - FINISHED

Chapter IV

Hanna came home around five o'clock. She went staight to her bedroom, kicking her shoes off and throwing herself on bed. Sighed, she takes her phone and called Sean.

''Hey babe.''

''Hey. I can't really talk right now. I'll just call you later.'' he said and hang up.

Hanna's eyes get watery. Does he really love me? She asked herself, not knowing answer.

It was kinda cliché, Hanna and Sean together. The it girl and the it boy. But Hanna didn't care. She loved Sean. Right?

Hanna jumped slightly when she heard her phone ringing.
Smiled, she reached for her phone, answered imidiately.

"Hi Caleb." she said happily.

"Hi princess." He grinned.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Nothing. I just missed you."

"We just were together." She laughed "But I missed you too."

"Remember that I told you I have suprise for you?"

Hanna grinned "Yeah."

"Meet me at our place." He said hanging up.

Hanna smiled and went over her closet. She takes her jacket and went downstairs.

"Mom I'm going out with Caleb."

"Wait sweetie." Ashley said walking to her daughter.

"What's up mom?"

"Can we talk?"

Hanna furrowed her eyebrows "About what?"

"Caleb."

"Caleb?"

"Yeah. Is he just friend to you?"

"No mom, he's not just friend. He's my bestfriend." Hanna smiled.

Ashley gives her look "Hanna, when I was at highschool, I had bestfriend too."

"Really. What happend between you two?"

"I married him." Ashley smiled as Hanna widened her eyes.

"Dad was your bestfriend? I tought you were dating."

"We were. But before that, we were friends. Three years."

"I didn't know that." Hanna muttured.

"I'm talking about this because, when I and your father started dating, everything seem perfect. But then I realised he cheated on me, and I was so in love, that I forgave him. But when I'm looking at it now, I see how stupid I was." Ashley wipe her tear away "I believed him when he said  he never do that again. So I gave him another chance. We made up, and then we get married and we had you. But then he do that again. When you were little. And I forgave him again, because I didn't want to hurt you. Growing without father. And then you grow up and he did that again. And I told myself stop. He won't hurt me anymore. Or you. So he left."

"Mom I'm so sorry I didn't know that." Hanna said.

"I know that Caleb is not like your father, but I'm afraid of...." Ashley said looking down on her feet.

"Afraid of what?"

"Of you hurting Caleb." Ashley said quietly and Hanna raised her eyebrows.

"I would never hurt him mom." Hanna said sternly.

"I know you wouldn't. But you already did." Ashley muttured.

"What?" Hanna said annoyed but her phone started ringing.

"It's Caleb, I gotta go. But we're not done yet. We'll finish this." Hanna said and she went away from her mom.

Hanna went out straight to the park, where she's meeting Caleb. She couldn't believe what her mom told her. She would never hurt Caleb. She loved him. Like a friend of course. How did she hurt him? Hanna questioned herfelf. 

''Hanna!'' Caleb called her. She turn her head and sees him on swing. She smiled and went sit next to him.

''Hey. So what's my suprise?'' she grinned.

''Slow down princess.'' Caleb laughed.

Hanna smiled but it wasn't her usual smile. It was her sad smile. Caleb immedietly feels that something is wrong.

''Hey what's up Han? Did Sean do something?'' he asked worried.

''It's not about Sean.'' she whispered.

''Then?'' 

''Did I ever hurt you someway?'' she asked, afraid of answer.

Caleb looked straight into her eyes. Yes, she did hurt him. Seeing her with Sean hurts him but it wasn't her fault. It was no-one fault that he fell in love with her.

''No.'' he simply answered.

Hanna sighed of relief ''Good.'' she smiled.

''Why?'' 

''It doesn't matter anymore.'' she takes his hand to hers and looked at him.

When she was about to say something, she looked behind Caleb. She felt her tears coming into her eyes.

''Hey Hanna what's wrong?'' Caleb asked worried when he see her crying. 

''S-Sean.'' she said, pointing finger at him.

Caleb looked behind himself and he seen Sean with some girl, making out.

''What a jerk.'' Caleb said angry.

Hanna stand up from swing and ran away.

''Hanna wait! Hanna!'' he yelled and ran for her.

Hanna stopped herself and when she seen Caleb running towards her, turn around and went to hug him.

''I'm so so sorry baby. You deserve better.'' Caleb said while storking her hair.

''I-I was talking to my mom to-today.'

''Hey, hey brathe.'' Hanna takes some deep breathes and looked up at him.

''My mom told me that she was dating my dad at highschool, and he cheated on her back then. And she forgave him and that she was stupid. And I don't wanna be stupid anymore. I hate him Caleb. He did what my dad did. I hate him.'' she cried and Caleb held her tight.

''Han, I know it's hurts, but it will be better.'' he told her softly.

''How do you know?'' she asked sobbing.

''I was in your situation actually. The girl didn't cheated on me or she wasn't even my girlfriend. But she broke my heart. And I was broken. But then, everytime I saw her smile, My heart fixed again. She was the only person who could fix and break my heart the same time.'' 

''Who was that girl?'' Hanna asked after some minutes.

''It doesn't matter. I'm over it anyway.'' he smiled.

''Oh Caleb.'' she hugs him ''The girl is stupid. She didn't know what she's missing.'' 

Caleb fake smiled and held her for some minutes more. What she didn't know, the girl was her.
