Chapter 11 – Ayumu gets help

Outside of Daniel's house, which is an illustrious 2 story house, with lion statues outside the front gate

A van is parked, Hyosuke and Daniel rush in, clad in winter coats

In the van, Daniel, Sho and a few other nameless kids crowd the van, the only person missing, was Sho

Meanwhile, at an old country style house. Sho had just unlocked the front door, holding 2 suitcases

It may seem like Sho was doing this out of the kindnenss of his heart, but he had a bit of an ulterior motive. Sho had a plan, the love of his life had been hurt, and hurt bad by his former friend. He would try to nurse her back to health. He had lied to her parents and his parents that they went off with Daniel to Colorado, but really they were going to spend the week alone at his parents guest house. Ayumu had planned on going on the trip to, her and her ex-boyfriend, Hyosuke. Sho hoped that if he did this for her, she would start to recognize how he feels about her.

With a nervous Ayumu, who looked on the verge of tears, following behind him

Ayumu studied the house, while Sho was speaking. Sho had trouble containing his happiness, so he was kind of running around, showing her the different things in the house

"Well, here we are. Home sweet Home. This is my grandmother's old house, it's been empty for a year. It'll look better once I put up the blinds"

Sho runs over to the window, opening the curtain, causing a bright light to shine through

Ayumu squints to shield her eyes

Sho runs over to the old tv, with bunny ear antennas, and turns it on

"Good, at least she left us a working television."

Sho notices an old family photo hanging on the wall, so he takes it off the nail and brings it to Ayumu

"Hey, you want to see a picture from when I was 4?"

Ayumu has her head down, crying.

She's scared, she hadn't told her parents yet. The only people who know are Hyosuke, who left her high and dry, and Sho, who is taking her in.

Ayumu came from a rather poor family, and she was still in school. There was no way they could afford to raise a child, so there was only one option.

A.N.: please don't hate me for including abortion. I know it is a very touchy and controversial issue for most people. Whether you agree with it or think it's amoral, just remember, this is just a story. Also keep in mind, this is how it happened in the movie.
