Chapter 10

Chance's POV
I have a whole night planned out for us and I just hope that it will all go down good. I first called an uber because tonight I don't want to drive I just want to enjoy the night with Riley. When the uber arrived me and Riley hopped in the back and I whispered the location to the driver so Riley wouldn't hear me.

Riley - Chance
Chance - yeah
Riley - where are we going
Chance - you would just have to wait and see

Riley then gave me the puppy dog eyes and she knows that they're to hard to resist but I have to stay strong.

Chance - I'm not telling you
Riley - damn it
Chance - Haha

After a 20 minute car ride we finally arrived.

Riley - we're going to the Santa Monica Peir
Chance - yeah
Riley - I've always wanted to go to the Santa Monica Peir especially at night
Chance - I know that's why we're going
Riley - thank you
Chance - no problem so are you hungry now or do you want to wait a bit
Riley - I can eat but where are we going
Chance - Bubba Gump's
Riley - yas

Riley's POV
I never thought the day would come of me and Chance going on a date. The thing that surprises me is that he remembers a lot about me like how I've always wanted to go to the Santa Monica Peir and how I love Bubba Gump's.

Chance's POV
I could see that Riley was really happy and when she's happy I'm happy. We then went inside of Bubba Gump's and waited for our table. A waitress came over to us and asked for a table for two. She then took us to our table which was a booth in the far corner.

Waitress - I'll be back to take your orders
Chance - thank you
(Then the Waitress left)
Chance - so what would you like to eat
Riley - I might have the Texas chicken sandwich
Chance - cool
Riley - what are you going to have

When Riley asked me what I was having I was still searching through the menu.

Chance - um I might have the shrimpers heaven
Riley - nice should we order then
Chance - yeah

At Bubba Gump's they have these signs at the table where if you don't need everyone then you flip the sign to say "run forest run" or if you need someone then you flip it to say "stop forest stop." So we flipped the sign to say "stop forest stop" so the Waitress knew we needed her

Waitress - so what would you guys like to have
Riley - I'll have the Texas chicken sandwich
Waitress - ok
Waitress - and what would you like to
Chance - I'll just have a shrimpers heaven
Waitress - is that all
Chance - yeah that's it
Waitress - if there's anything else just ask
Riley - ok thank you

After a small conversation with Chance our food arrived and thank god I was so hungry at that point. After we ate Chance offered to pay for our meal but I kept on saying that I'll pay for my meal but there was no bother in fighting with him so I let him pay for it.

We then walked out of Bubba Gump's and walked over to the rides. Chance was then leading me to the ferris wheel. We then hopped on and went for a ride. It then stopped at the very top so we could see the beautiful view. But when we got to the top Chance decided to swing the cart that we were in and I was screaming at him for him to stop. I'm literally so afraid of heights but I also love ferris wheels.

Riley - Chance I'm going to kill you soon if you won't stop swinging the cart
(I start to hit him playfully)
Chance - Haha don't worry it won't break. Hopefully
Riley - Chance stop it
Chance - fine. You know I would never let anything happen to you
Riley - awww

I could see Chance just trying to find the right moment to kiss me but I just went for it. When we kissed it felt like fireworks it was just so amazing I never want this moment to end. But then the ferris wheel started to move again which gave me a fright and eventually we got to the bottom. We then hopped off and went down to the beach to relax.

Riley - thanks for taking me out tonight it was amazing
Chance - anything for you

Then out of know where Chance stands up and picks me up.

Riley - what are you doing

Then I could see him walking towards the beach.

Riley - Chance no no no please don't put me in the water
Chance - why it should be nice and warm
Riley - sure it would be

Then Chance drops me into the water and I'm all soaking wet and freezing. I then get up and started chasing after him.

Riley - your dead Chance Sutton
Chance - fine then I guess you don't want any ice-cream
Riley - did I just hear you say ice-cream
Chance - yes so do you want some
Riley - hell yeah so where are we going
Chance - Ben and Jerry's
Riley - YAY thank you

I then grab Chance's hand and we run to the closest Ben and Jerry's ice-cream place. Before we went inside Chance gave me his jacket because I was soaking wet and I was shivering so much.

Riley - thanks
Chance - no problem now let's head inside and get some ice-cream

We then head inside and I could see all of the delicious flavors.

Chance - so what you going to have
Riley - my usual
Chance and Riley - cookie dough ice-cream

When I was about to say my favorite ice-cream flavor Chance ends up saying it as well.

Riley - you remember
Chance - yeah
Riley - how? the last time we had Ben and Jerry's together was when we were like 14
Chance - well I remember a lot of things
Riley - I can see

We then order our ice-cream and start to eat it. When we were done Chance called for an uber to pick us up and take us back to the team 10 house.

Chance - did you enjoy the night
Riley - yes I did Chance thank you
Chance - Hey I was wondering though do you want to be my girlfriend
