Chapter 20

Riley's POV
It's been about an hour now and we're still stuck on the roller coaster. Chance keeps on trying to make me feel better but it's not working. From the far distance I could see all of the park managers trying to fix the ride.

Jake - Hey Riles we'll get out of here don't worry
Riley - I really hope so

At every minute I was freaking out even more. All I could think about was that we could be stuck up here forever.

Chance's POV
I've had enough of this we've been stuck up here long enough. Everyone was freaking out especially Riley because I know she's afraid of heights. I then tried to look around for the managers and once I found them I had a talk with them.

Chance - HEY YOU GUYS HURRY UP AND GET US DOWN FROM HERE WE'RE ALL FREAKING OUT
Park manager - DON'T WORRY WE'RE ALMOST DONE JUST HOLD ON FOR 20 MORE MINUTES

I could see that almost everyone was calming down but with Riley she looks like she's going to faint.

Chance - Jake
Jake - yeah
Chance - has Riley been like this before
Jake - ummmm no

Jake then leaned over to Riley and gave her hug from behind so he could comfort her.

Jake - Riles it's going to be ok
Riley - guys I don't feel so go-

Before she could finish her sentence she puked all over herself.

Chance - it's ok Riley
Riley - PLEASE GET US OFF OF HERE

Just as Riley finished her sentence a ladder came up with a man trying to get us out.

Chance - can u please get my girlfriend that's sitting right next to me off first.
Maintenance guy - sure thing

The maintenance guy then took Riley down and everyone else except for me. The guy was slowly coming up the ladder and as he was I could feel the cart shaking. I kept on yelling for him to hurry up but each step he takes it feels like the cart is falling off. I could see Riley from down below telling him to hurry up.

Riley - I AM TELLING YOU, HURRY UP AND GET MY BOYFRIEND DOWN ITS GOING TO FALL
maintenance guy - I'm trying my hardest
Riley - THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH I WANT HIM OFF THERE NOW

Riley's POV
As I was screaming my head off Jake tried to pull me away but I kept on pushing him off of me.

Riley - Jake get OFF ME

I then fell to the floor and started crying I couldn't bare to see my life without Chance he means the world to me.

Jake - he's going to get down don't worry

As Jake was coming to hug me I could hear Chance screaming something but I couldn't make out the words. I then stood up again and walked closer to the ride.

Riley - CHANCE I COULDN'T HEAR YOU BEFORE WHAT DID YOU SAY
Chance - I JUST WANT TO SAY I LOVE YOU AND IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO ME JUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT I LOVE YOU
Riley - CHANCE DON'T SAY THAT OK JUST PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME
