Chapter 13

Chance's POV
I lay on my bed in silence just thinking about what to do in this situation. Like I love Riley but she really hurt me and then Anthony is my best friend but then he hurt me. Ugh I'm just going to lay in this bed forever. Just as I was about to fall asleep again I heard the door open so I sat on my bed so I could see who it is.

Chance - can you just leave me alone right now
Riley - please can we just talk

As Riley was talking I could see tears running down her face.

Chance - I don't want to talk to you right now
Riley - please
Chance - you have 5 minutes
Riley - thank you
Riley - ok Chance I messt up ok I don't know what happened to me but all I know is that I love you not Anthony
Chance - do you even know why Anthony kissed you
Riley - because he was drunk
Chance - yes that but also because he likes you
Riley - no he doesn't
Chance - yeah he does Riley
Riley - well I don't like him like that
Chance - I know but you really hurt me
Riley - I know and this will never happen again. Please can we just go back to normal
Chance - I don't know
Riley - Chance please I love you

When Riley said I love you I just had to say it back because I do love her more than anything.

Chance - I love you too
Riley - seriously so you'll take me back
Chance - yes I'll take you back

Riley's POV
When Chance said I'll take you back I ran up to him and hugged him while crying. But now I've got another problem to solve and that's Anthony.

Chance - Hey don't cry
Riley - I'm crying because I'm happy
Chance - please don't do this to me ever again
Riley - I won't I promise but now I need to sort out Anthony
Chance - what do you mean
Riley - well you said that he likes me so I want to say that I love you and that he can't just kiss me like that
Chance - just be nice while you tell him all of that
Riley - I will

Just as I was going to leave his room I kissed him on the cheek and left the room to find Anthony.

Riley - ANTHONY
Anthony - I'm in the kitchen

I run down the stairs and into the kitchen to talk to Tony.

Anthony - what's up, have you and Chance made up
Riley - yeah we have
Anthony - and what about me
Riley - I don't know but I want to talk to you about something
Anthony - and that is
Riley - well Anthony do you like me more than just a friend
Anthony - why would you say that
Riley - Chance told me
Anthony - well yes, I do like you
Riley - I'm sorry Anthony but I don't like you in that way ok I love Chance and that didn't give you the right to kiss
Anthony - it's not my fault you kissed me back
Riley - because you caught me by surprise

I was starting to get so furious with Anthony, like why can't he understand I don't like him in that way.

Riley - ok Anthony listen
Anthony - I'm listening
Riley - I love Chance ok so end of story
Anthony - I'm out of here

And just like that he stormed out of the house and went to who knows where.

Jake - what just happened
Riley - nothing

Then I run upstairs and into my bedroom to watch some netflix so I can get over all of this drama.
