Ch.6 - She Broke His Little Heart

Herro Jedi's! Here is the newest chapter of my fabtabulous story... AND OF MICE AND MEN ARE COMING TO WARPED TOUR YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! *hyperventilates* Anywhore, back to the drama...

Alex POV:

"CANNONBALL!" I heard Noah scream right before he landed practically on top of me!

"Aaaaaa!" I got splashed right in the face and then pulled under by him.  We wrestled under water for a second for before coming up for air. Then the all out splash battle began...but he had it coming. The guys and I are pros at this. Yea I know we're weird. As i hit him with a wall of water, I hear something like "Holy - Jack what - Are you okay?" At least that's what I thought because Joey was trying to push me under water again. I signaled for him to quit it and we both turned to see Jack burst into tears and fall to the ground, trying to become as small as possible. I'm the first one out of the pool and go racing over to my friend. I've only seen him cry once so what ever it is it must be pretty bad. I sit down and make him sit up. The others come and sit with us. I pull him over so he's half in my lap.

"Jack, what happened? I thought you were with Molly?" I guess it was the wrong thing to say because he starts crying harder.  After about 15 minutes the crying has ceased into shuddering.

"Do you want to tell me now Jack?" I ask. He nods, beginning his story.

"I w-was out having lunch with M-molly. And this big blonde guy walks in and starts t-talking to her. He said something about a couple n-nights ago and s-she...she fucking cheated on me Alex! You were right the whole time! I was just being stupid..." he drifted off. I turned to the others to see their reactions. Nicole, Joey, and Noah look sad and shocked, and Zach looks like he's going to murder someone. Nicole is the first to react. She wraps her arms around Jack and says,

"I'm so sorry. Jack she was a bitch. Don't let her bring you down, you will find someone else who is beautiful and kind and definitely not her. You have all of us to help you get through this and know that we all love you." She hugs him tight and smiles over at me. I give her the thumbs up and we all try to console Jack. Zach helps Jack up and we all head inside.  I guess I looked a little shaken up because Nicole asks me if I'm alright.

"Yeah I'm good.  It's just, well, Jack never cries. I've only seen him cry once and I've known him since 8th grade!" I tell her. She sighs and  shakes her head.

"I hope he'll be okay..." she mutters and we follow the others. After we dry off and change, I decide to be nice and put Home Alone in the movie player. Jack gives me a small smile as the movie comes on. I watch as he begins to mouth the words and out of the corner of my eye I see Nicole smiling at him.  God, i hope he gets the guts to ask her out. I wonder if she likes him? I mean she is single and all..  My thoughts slowly slip away as I fall asleep.

RING...RING... I wake up to my cell phone going off. The credits are slowly rolling on the TV screen and everyone is fast asleep on the couches. I grab my phone off the table.  Ugh, really Flyzik!?

"Hello? - Hey Matt - yes you just woke me up! - OK...what time? - alright thanks. And Jack isn't feeling well so he won't be there - yea i'll tell them- bye"  Really?! An interview! This better be quick and Jack is lucky I covered for him. The clock shows that we have an hour to get ready, since the interview is at 4:00pm. I wake everyone up, except Jack, and Zach and I rush back to our house. I start getting dressed since Zach is calling to tell Rian about the interview. I put on a blue GLMR Kills shirt and black skinnies and then straighten my hair. Zach is waiting for me when I get downstairs. Zach drives us and we get there in 5 minutes flat. Rian is outside the building waiting for us.

"Alright boys! Let's do this."

Skipping to after interview cuz I'm lazy...

"And this was All Time Low on Buzznet!" The interviewer says to the camera. We wave and the interview is over, easy as that. We thank the lady who is getting all up and personal with me. How bout, NO. I ignore her attempts and the three of us leave the building. Once outside Rian bursts out laughing.

"Haha way to shut her down Alex! Haha the look on her face!!!" He goes into hysterics. I roll my eyes and look at Zach who is laughing too. Soon enough we are all on the ground, in a parking lot, laughing at something that isn't very funny at all. After our mild spazz attacks, we agree to meet at Nicole's to get Jack. Soon enough I am knocking on their door and Noah answers it.

"Jack still here?" I ask walking in, closing the door behind me.

"Yeah, he's in the kitchen with the others." He tells me. We walk in to see them making spaghetti with red sauce.

"ALLEEEXXXXX!!!" They scream as I walk in. I grin and sit at the bar waiting for them to finish. Jack dishes me up and the 7 of us sit at the table, since Rian and Zach came. Jack and Nicole are sitting awfully close and are engaged in conversation. I look over at Joey and Noah and the smile back.

"They've been inseparable all day. I feel like I've barely seen them since you guys left." Joey whispers over to us.  Rian air pumps and whisper-screams "YES!" I laugh quietly and go back to eating.  After dinner we thank them and walk home with Jack.  I change out of my clothes and yell a goodnight to the guys. I'm exhausted! If we have another interview without a heads up, i swear- My thoughts are interrupted by Jack coming into my room.

"How you doing Jay?" I ask worriedly.

"A lot better than earlier." he chuckles. "Actually, Nicole and I hung out all day. We watched movies and ate a ton of popcorn. I think I like her Lex. And I know she isn't a rebound because I had some feelings for her before the, uh, breakup. I mean I have only known her for 2 days but, God Lex!" he says in a rush.

"Well if you really feel that way, get to know her better before you ask her out. And some advice: don't hurt her. She has a brother and friend who will kill the shit out of you.  They do like the idea of you two together though, we all do." I smiled and laughed.

"Thanks Alex! Goodnight."

"Night Jack." And with that he walked out, shutting the door on the way.  Thank God! Now I can sleep...
