Nicole's POV
"Toast?" Joey asked me. It's Sunday morning and I'm completely sleep deprived. Let's just say I was thinking about Jack and reliving yesterday afternoon all night.
"Yes please! And get me a Monster while you're at it." Usually I have coffee but when I'm this tired, only energy drinks help. Joey dished up my toast with orange marmalade and sat at the table next to me with his strawberry toast. We ate in silence till we heard a familiar demon yell,
"I'm home! ...Mom? Dad?" Great my sleazy older sister Veronica was home.
"They're coming home tomorrow." Joey muttered.
"Perfect! I'm having a party tonight and FYI school has been canceled for Monday because of teacher meetings or something." we both nodded and put our dirty dishes in the sink. Joey and I went upstairs and watched sponge bob. Once again, we are mature teenagers. ZZZ ZZZ Jack was texting me *eternally squeals* wow I have issues...
JACKY: wer coming over in 5
ME: wow we hang out for a day and u guys can just barge into my house ;)
JACKY: u know u love it
ME" meh! Anyway, come in through side door...sis is home
JACKY: eww ok
A few minutes later the elevator dings and 5 people walk out. Cassadee and Rian=OTP no i'm not fangirling...OK just a little starstruck.
"Hio! We snuck past the skank and we brought cupcakes!" Alex yells. Joey bursts out laughing as Cassadee smacks Alex. He makes a pouty face at her and then goes to mope on the couch. Once everyone settles down, we tell them about Veronica's party. Basically alcohol, sluts, drugs, and everything else. Joey and I have only been allowed to go to one of Veronica's parties. Things got out of hand. My old friend Kate was there, we were freshmen, and she met a guy who was a senior. He took things too far. The worst part it happened twice. He raped her. She moved to Washington; I haven't spoken to her in a year. I snap back to reality as Zack is suggesting we call our friends and have a mini party up here on our floor. Joey and I share a look. If our parents found out we'd be dead, but we're already in a lot of trouble anyways so we''ll just sneak everybody.
"What the hell. Let's do it!" I start calling everyone - Lauren, Noah, Meg, Cole, and Micheal. They all agree to come. Wait until they find out ATL is here!
"I have a little surprise for you. Guess who I invited?" Cassadee says, practically jumping up and down.
"WHO!?" we yell.
"Tay Jardine and Jordan Eckes" she says smiling. My jaw drops. Two members of WATIC are going to be in my house. I repeat my house! After I'm done hyperventilating, we just hang around for the rest of the day. We watched all the X Men movies, made ice cream sundaes and watched Alex and Jack attack each other with pillows. I check the clock to see that it's... ALREADY 7 O'CLOCK!!! I have to get ready! I go into my room and grab a dark blue lace dress and then straighten and curl my hair slightly. Might as well skip shoes, i mean i will be inside. A swipe of black eyeliner and mascara and I'm ready to go. The clock reads 7:40. As I go to open the door, someone knocks.
"Oh, hey Cass!"
"Hey, um i hope this isn't weird or anything, but could i borrow some clothes?"
"It's no problem! Feel free to use makeup and what ever else you need." I assure her. She thanks me and closes the door. I walk out into the living room. I loudly clear my throat, making 5 heads swivel in my direction.
"Woah! Girl I need some sunglasses cuz you look hot!" Alex says. I smack him round the head. Joey, Rian, and Zack all tell me that I look awesome. Jack hasn't said a word. I turn to him. His mouth is open and he is smiling at me.
"Nicole. You look...wow. Beautiful, stunning. wow" Is all he can make out. I giggle,
"Thanks Jacky" I said. We all waited for Cass to come out of my room. About 20 minutes later she walked out in a white dress that had small red and pink flowers covering it, and was wearing a pair of sandals. Everyone complimented her and then she walked up to Rian.
"Well,l what do you think?" she asked with a smirk playing at her lips.
"Um, I'm at a loss for words! You look gorgeous Cass." he finally stuttered out. Then he stood and gave her a kiss, which made us all coo at them, except for Jack who said "eww cooties" in a high pitched voice. The two of them cuddle up on the couch together as the doorbell rings. A second later Veronica's voice comes through the intercom telling me that my "weird friends are here", and can just see Cole and Meg holding Mikey back from smacking her round the head. I look to the guys and Cassadee.
"Ok guys, so my friends are huge fans of yours so I apoligize in advance if they fangirl or try to hit on you." Then I head over to the elevator to let the freaks in. DING
"NICOLE!" Mikey and Noah scream jumping on me. I laugh and fall over.
"Noah you only saw me yesterday."
"Yeah but I missed you!" he says grinning down at me. Finally they let me up and I give them all a stern look.
"Alright, no freaking out guys. They are only a group of punk superstars." I say. Meg rolls her eyes and says "Can we see then already!?" I chuckle.
"Of course. Right this way." I lead them into the living room where Alex and Jack appear to be acting JALEX just for them. Lauren lets out a squeal and then immediately cover her mouth, blushing crimson. They all look up and laugh. Lauren, of course, hides behind Mikey.
"So this is Meg and Cole. They are dating," I say making a heart with my hands,"and this is Lauren, Mikey and you already met Noah. You guys already know who they are." I say pointedly looking at ATL and Cassadee. They say hi and everyone settles in. Lauren sits beside Alex and totally starts talking him up. He's loving it, starting the usual game of 20 questions. Meg and Cole and talking to Rian and Cassadee, typical couples, and Mikey is talking to Joey and Zack. Jack sits down by me. Instantly nervous, yet happy, yet nervous...god make up your mind! Wait, I'm talking to myself...SHUT UP!
"Hey Nicky. Want to play 20 questions? I don't really know much about you so i thought it would be kinda fun." he says bouncing up and down.
"Alright. Favorite movie? Wait I know that."
"Haha yeah! Same question."
"I have a lot: superhero movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, Finding Nemo, and My neighbor Totoro. Alright if you could be Madonna, Rhianna, or Britney Spears who would you be?"
"Madonna because she is the queen of pop. Favorite superhero and what superhero would you be."
"Stop giving me the hard questions! Batman or Thor and either Storm, Black widow, or Rumor from Umbrella Academy. Weird fact about the band?"
"Alex has a curvy blue dick."
"JACK BARAKAT IT IS NOT BLUE AND IT SITS TO THE LEFT!" Alex yells. Jack sticks his tongue out and I laugh at the two of them. Our game continues on well past 20. I tell him about my favorite bands (MCR, paramore, OM&M, AA etc) and he tells me about their craziest shows. Soon enough we hear pop and rap music blasting from downstairs and people talking and yelling. The party has begun...
