As I walked home I had one thing on my mind: my iPhone.
Over the summer I had broken my iPhone and hadn't been able to fix it since my mom took it to the Apple store while I was at school, I had been using my dad's old phone for a while and it just doesn't cut it for me.

I ran I to my room and tossed my navy blue backpack onto my bed.
I grabbed the new charger and my refurbished iPhone that was sitting on my desk.
I immediately plugged in the charger, within seconds my precious iPhone had turned on.
I turned on my phone, but something caught my eye;
'You Have 18 unread voicemails from: Hayley Attican'
I thought that she had recorded this before I gave her the phone number for my dad's old phone, but I checked the date on the messages, they were recorded the same day she went missing.
I thought maybe they were recorded in the morning, or something.
But then I remembered, she had the number for my dad's old phone, why wouldn't she have just called me?
Oh wait, that's right my dads phone doesn't take voicemails for some reason.
I built up the courage to listen to the voice mails, I tapped on the first one she sent.
"Charlie! It's me! Hayley-"
I almost broke out in tears hearing Hayleys sweet voice on the phone again, the problem was, she sounded as if she was in trouble.
"Charlie! I tried calling and texting both your dad's phones and this phone to get in contact with you so Im leaving a voicemail,"
Why wouldn't Hayley havr contacted oh, I don't know, the police!? Or her psrents!?
"Listen Charlie, if you're hearing this, I need you to PLEASE, help me! Gianna took me into the forest, she tied me to a tree and-"

Hayley's words were muffled.

"She has a knife! Please help me in at the mountain trail in-"

The voicemail ended.
Gianna, killed, Hayley.
