Alyssa's POV
"I-I was just leaving" I stuttered, taken back by this unfamiliar yet attractive face.
I took a step back away from the tall figure, keeping my eyes down.
"Actually, I have a question" the boy said, placing a large hand on my shoulder. I stopped abruptly, my eyes wide. I slowly nodded, hoping that was enough closure for him to know to proceed.
"I'm new" he started "could you like maybe show me around?"
"Yeah uh sure" I said quietly, "I didn't quite catch your name though"
"Jack" he smirked, extending a calloused hand for me to shake
"Jack Davis"
