It was the way she walked.

The way she spoke .

The way she moved so effortlessly.

I wanted her.

She was my angel.

"Aw man why don't you just give it a rest already?" Kace said swinging the bottle of red rum in his hand, his gaze moving up and down every time a women passed them.

"I mean do you know who you are? You could practically give one look and every women would swoon to your feet, drink my friend for you are the most annoyingly handsome man I know" he said cracking a smile and swinging the bottle towards his friend's direction.

"I don't wan't them, I want her" Aiden said while waving the bottle away, Kace shrugged and took a swing, letting the red liquor pass his lips and on to his body with no hesitation. Aiden's eye navigated to the small figured brunette standing next to the bus stop across the street , clutching her rain coat and fidgeting with her feet.

Kace's focus moved towards Aiden's gaze, his expression instantly changing when he recognized the figure stealing his friends attention. "You know you can't mate, not unless you want a death wish for you and her" His tone sounding serious with a hint of worry.

Aiden's facial features lifting into a deprived smile. He knew the price he would pay if he walked into her life. One encounter and his and her world's would change. Yet the thought of that danger tempted him even more. In fact danger and him were no strangers, he could practically dance with it if he wanted.

"I don't care who would come for me, I love what I can't have and she-" lifting his finger and pointing to the girl who seemed far to concerned with her inner problems to focus on the two men on the opposite side of the street having a full discussion about her "-is the person who will set me free, I want her"

She was so close yet so far, yet Aiden knew the cost of having her. It would finally end the war that started it all. He could end this .

"Yeah, yeah I heard you the first time you said it. Only I'm your friend...your only friend as a matter of a fact and it's my duty to let you know how stupid this idea of yours is, she's not who you think she is" Kace said as he brought the bottle towards his lips and taking another hit.

"Besides, say she was who you think she is, what makes you think she'll ever take interest in you? You reek of danger and she'll know that as soon as you approach her."

Aiden smirked and moved his body towards his friend, coming face to face with him. He stared at his friend and knew how miserable he looked while drinking the liquor. He knew well enough, then anybody else that his friend was one step away from walking into the dark side. He knew the consequences of stepping out of line but he didn't want that path for his long time friend, yet he couldn't muster the courage to tell him otherwise.

" Everybody loves a bit of danger" He replied not breaking his friend's stare. He heard the wheels of a bus come to a halt, he turned to look at the direction of the girl and saw her climb onto the bus and inserting her money, making her way towards the end of the bus, while making sure she didn't hit anyone on her way there. His eyes lit up with excitement just by looking at the endless possibilities that could take place if he played his cards correctly. He watched the bus drive off.

"Come on Kace it's getting dark and we have places to be and scores to straighten" Aiden said motioning for his friend to follow

" About time" Kace said, instantly switching moods. He took one final hit of the bottle and threw it to the side and followed Aiden as he entered a dark alley.
