I gasped and clapped my hand over my mouth.

"WHAT?!" Keefe scooted closer. "TELL ME NOW!"

I glanced over at Fitz. He beamed at me.

"I'm serious," he said. "You should."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" Keefe screamed.

"TELL US!" Biana tugged at my arm.

"No, way," I pulled away from Biana. "I'm not telling anyone. EVER."

Biana pouted, but Keefe was determined. "First of all, tell us if you'll do it."

I looked at Fitz and he gave me a gentle smile and an encouraging nod. I hesitated, then mumbled, "I guess."

I knew you would, Fitz transmitted. Thanks, you won't regret it.

But he looked a little nervous. I bet I looked even more nervous.

"See you tonight," I blurted, then ran from the room. I dashed into the hallway and immediately activated my home crystal. Just as the swirling light pulled me home, I saw my friends' bewildered faces peek around the corner at me.

Bye, I transmitted as I faded away (not literally).

"SO," came a booming voice from behind me. I scrambled away from it.

"Oh, it's just you," I said with relief. It was Grady, my adoptive father.

"Now I'm 'just you'?" He narrowed his eyebrows. "I see how it is. Running off to see boys and now I'm just boring, old dad."

"No," I protested. "Biana was there, too. We were just playing."

I hurried upstairs to my room.

"VERTINA!" I shouted. "VERTINA, I NEED YOUR HELP!"

Sorry it's so short, but I really didn't have any time and I'll try to write more later. I'm also stumped on what she'll wear. See you!! <3
