ADRIAN POV

"COME ON LADIES, YOU KNOW THE DRILL." The lady officer said.

"HEY HOW BOUT SHUTTING THE F*CK UP." I heard one of the other inmates say annoyed just as we were that she always came yelling.

"I really think she doesnt like us cuase she is always yelling near our cell." Candy said getting up.

"Well we wont have to worry bout her for long now do we." I said sitting up.

" You right though." She said streching.

"Hey Ruiz your attorney will be here later today." The guard said then leaving.

I was glad that i was getting up out of here sooner than later, I was also glad candy was getting out of here as well. We did our usual rutine and went to breakfast where they had some really odd looking eggs and then was chores lucky we only had to sweep the blocks.

"So candy what are you gonna do when you get outta here." I asked sweeping one end of the hall.

"Im not sure at the moment but i do know that i'll be crashing at tims for a while."

"You still keep in contact with him?" I was surprised when he graduated he moved some where on the other side of the city.

"Yeah when i was out doing what i had to do i usually crashed at his place were still close. Which reminds me he told me if i ever saw you that if you ever needed anything to holla at him."

"Ill keep that in mind." It didnt surprise me that tim was still cool with us he always been like that if you end cool chances are you'll start off cool again.

"These some really dusty ass floors." Candy said making a pile of dirt.

"Hey dusty floors for dusty females." I said laughing.

"So how is that new family treating you?"

"There real cool. Even though the people at school are straight bougie and stuck up except for this one group of people i befriedend and they down for anything." I said complimenting my group of friends.

"What you mean by they down, what did you do?" Candy always saw right through me.

" Well member that blonde bitch i was telling you about well they was done for revenge when i got put in here and when anju ashtma triggered. Sometime last weekend they handled her and when i get out its gonna be hell for that little girl." I said as a promise rather than a threat.

"Always quick to put some on in there place." She said laughing and shaking her head.

"Just how we quickly put those sisters in there place which reminds me good looking out." I said looking at her.

"Always you know we been like fam since those fosters days." She said giving me dap

"Still cant belive they thought we was gonna sit there and take that beating." I said contiuing sweeping.

"Hey atleast we wont be harassed any more since the ward put them in solitary confinment." She had a point i aint had to worry bout them no more.

"True." I was glad they watched the tape before pointing fingers cuase if i would of went down shit would of really started to pop off.

"Ruiz you got a visitor." The guard said

"Alright. I'll be back candy." I said putting the broom against the wall.

The  guard lead me through the blocks through the main hall to the visitor room. I saw hector sitting at one of the tables and doing something on his phone. I walked over to him and he got up gave me a hug and we sat down.
