So I was on social media a lot today and I was thinking about how religions (specifically monotheistic ones) get a lot of hate because of the questionable content you find in various Bibles and scriptures.
And maybe this is just my belief, but I think that God hates organized religion too. People do stupid stuff in the name of religion and in His/Her name.
Then I thought of this concept of the Bible being celebrity fanfiction. God is the celebrity and believers write different versions of His life and the characters in His story (Moses, Jesus, etc). And some of it is inspiring and has great characterization and a good plot and stuff.
And then some of it is smut written by 12-year-olds who've barely been in a relationship before and My Immortal troll fic content.
And God is up in Heaven cringing like, "I created you and this is how you repay me."
Idk just my opinion.
