"Are you sure, you will be okay?" Tom asked as he loaded his bags into the back of the waiting car.
"Yes, I will be fine. The driver will take me to the apartment and I will get settled. No worries" Claire smiled.
Tom nodded and pulled Claire to him for a kiss goodbye. I will call once settled and give you my agenda."
Claire nodded and waved as he climbed in the car. She smiled to the driver and he opened the door as she climbed in heading to the flat.
Thirty minutes later Claire arrived at the brick 3 story flat. She climbed out of the car and stood in amazement. It was bigger than she imagined. She followed the driver up to the door and grabbed her key unlocking it and stepping in to the foyer.
"Thank you again Daniel" she smiled at him.
"You are very welcome Miss. If you need anything you telly yeah" he smiled.
She nodded and shut the door behind him, locking it.
The apartment was massive. Downstairs was a sitting room with bay windows from floor to sealing that led to a small garden. Pictures of art hug neatly on the walls and a bookshelf filled with books sat opposite of a small fire place. She grabbed her bags and headed upstairs. The 2nd floor held a large kitchen with a living room and dining room. The walls held art as well different from the downstairs. A massive entertainment center sat across from a large grey sectional and adjacent to the sofa was also wall to ceiling glass door that opened to a small patio with a small table and chairs. She moved to the stairs heading up to an open room with a desk in the center and off of the room was 3 bedrooms. One master and two guests.
The master bedroom held a large king-size bed covered in white linens and huge fluffy pillows. The bed sat against a wall and as with downstairs matching patios. The master bath held a large claw foot tub for two and a stone glass shower. Two sinks sat on marble with beautiful black cabinets.
"Damn, a girl could get use to this" she said to herself as she sat her bags on the floor next to the bed.
She hadn't bothered looking at the other rooms which she was certain were as perfect as this one was. She sat down on the bed and dug out her computer, switching it on. She clicked open an email from a local real estate agent and looked at an apartment she had set up for Claire to look at. Claire knew how Tom felt about her living with him but she needed a back up plan regardless of what he had said. She loved Tom but it wouldn't hurt to have an option. She grabbed her cell phone and called the number listed.
"This is Rebecca Towns" the woman responded.
"Miss Towns this is Claire" she spoke.
"Ah yes Claire. How was your flight?"
"It was great thank you. I was wondering if we could meet this afternoon to look at the apartment?"
"Yes of course. I can swing by and pick you up. How about in thirty?"
"Perfect, I will text you the address" Claire said quickly entering it and sending it to her.
"Great dear, it just came through. I will see you soon yeah?" she spoke.
"Great" Claire said and hung up.
Claire grabbed her purse and cell and headed downstairs to wait on Miss Towns.
Claire stepped out on the steps as Miss Towns arrived and locked the door behind her. She climbed into her small red car.
"It's so nice to finally meet you" Rebecca smiled at Claire.
"Like wise" she smiled as she buckled her seat belt.
Rebecca put the car in drive and headed north towards the busier side of town. The apartment in question was a block away from her new office. She pulled into a small parking pad and placed the car in park.
