So I know I had wanted to end this story with a flash forward but to be honest, it didn't feel right to me if that makes sense. I have enjoyed writing this story so very much and I loved how the last chapter ended. With that being said, I want to thank every one of you who voted and left me feedback on this story. I don't think you realize as writers we crave and need your words of encouragement. Yes, even if they are negative ones. The last few chapters were written from my own experience just this past Jan at the birth of my own son who spent time in NICU and the surgery aspect as well. A lot of time most write from a guessing point of view but this was the one time I wanted this story to have a something that people knew was real. I have written several story's on other fan fiction sites but by far this one has been my favorite. With that being said, I hope you will follow me and read my other work "Sweet Cakes.
