Harry's pov:
"No please! Don't do this Shane! I'll do anything you want!"
They grab Violet violently, carrying her by her arms and legs up to Shane.
"NO!" I scream but is hit on my back with a whip.
"No stop it now Shane!" I hear Violet's soft voice but the whip over casting it.
I tried to stand up but the whip hits harder and harder, digging into my already open fleshed wounds.
"Alright. Stop it right here!"
I look up and notice Alan and Robert with guns in their hands.
"Boys!" I yell.
"Oh and who are you! We're just now getting to the fun part!" Shane puffs his cigarette.
"We're about to end it! Now tell your men to let go of Violet and give Harry and her to us. Then we'll leave and forget this all happened."
Robert says while walking up closer to Shane and aiming the gun right at him.
"Alright alright, lemme just-"
Shane grabs for a red button signifying that was the detonator for the bomb in the city.
He punched Robert out and grabs Violet holding her hostage and grabbing a gun out pointing it at her head.
Robert's gun comes flying in and is just a few feet away from my hand.
"Anyone moves an inch closer and I'll press the button and everyone dies!" Shane's voice a little more worried now.
I grab the gun aiming it right where he was. With one quick shot in a blink of an eye...
*.... Gun shot....*
Violet comes running towards me wrapping her arms around my waist. Both of us breathing heavily and shaking.
"Shh it's alright. I got you." I held her close in my chest.
I stare at the body that was only feet away from me. Shane's men had already run off as I see Alan over across the side of me trying to recover Robert back.
'He's finally gone.'
Violet's grip around me making me flinch as the pain in my back increases.
"Harry. Please promise me that will never happen again." Violet says with tears falling down her face.
"I promise." I kiss her knowing that everything will be alright.
"Thank you so much boys for saving our lives."
"Ah don't mention it, we almost you know, just died for you guys so it's nothing." Alan says giving himself a laugh.
"Yeah, I'm just glad you guys are safe." Robert says as he stumbles his way over to us.
"Well now what?" Violet asks.
"That is a good question because I have no idea." I say.
"Well maybe you and I should just grab a boat and just go somewhere. Any direction the ocean leads us to." Violet says with a smile on her pretty face.
"I think you read my mind."
***
"Alright now no skinny dipping and no-"
"OKAY. Geese!" I say to Alan as I unwrap the rope from the deck of the boat.
"Thanks guys, I really mean it."
"Harry we made a pack. We got your back man." Robert pats my shoulder.
"See you on the other side."
Violet and I wave our hands across the water as I turn the motor of the boat on. Seeing the island disappear into the distance.
Alan and Robert said that they already had a boat and were going to part ways for now and make a new life for themselves just as I am.
"Violet, I hope you can trust me with what way we're going because I have abso-"
"Harry?" She kindly interrupts me.
But I loved it when she did that. Almost like a way of telling me to shut up and pay all my attention to her.
"Can I ask you one more question? And I need you to be as honest as you can."
"Sure go right ahead."
"...Can you help be the 'father' of the baby...?"
