♦Chapter 1: Jobless 'Girls'♦

Me: It's almost been three and a half month since we came to Korea to get a job. I said lying on the bed while staring at the ceiling.

Rebecca: Yeah!! And we still didn't get any job. *She said and let out a deep sigh from her mouth in frustrating.* Nothing is falling into its right place. I don't even know what to do. Everything is messing up.

Amber: But we can't remain like this, right babe? If we do not get any job then we will lose all our savings within few months. We have very small amount of savings to us right now. What will do if we lose that? She suddenly started to panic as the thought of our future hit her head.

I finally got up from the bed and walked towards them who were sitting on both sides of the sofa looking tensed and depressed. I took a seat in between them and took one of their hands in mine and they immediately turned to look at me.

Me: Hey don't worry. Please. We will definitely get a job, Okay? May be God have planned something good for us. That's why its taking time, it happens right? Let's just don't lose our hopes okhay? I believe we on us. And I want you guys to believe on us too. I said with a smile and they relieved by listening those words from my mouth and flashed me a sweet smile. Though I was worrying about tension too but I didn't showed it to them.

Rebecca: You are right Sarah. We will get a job. In fact we will try our best to get a job.

Amber: Yeah, we definitely will.

Me: That's it. That's the spirit. I wanted to listen something like this from your mouths. I'm so proud of you girls. I cheered them up and hugged them to make them feel better and they also hugged me back.

After sharing some fun moments within us Rebecca got up from the couch smiling like a sweet girl that she is.

Rebecca: Anyway I'm going to make a coffee. Do you guys want some?

Yes please~~ I and Amber said in a unison doing some ayego and she giggled.

Rebecca: Hehe cuties~. Just give me five minutes girls and I will be back with your coffees. She said before going to the kitchen while l and Amber started waiting for her to come back with our coffees mugs.

While waiting on the couch I suddenly realised that I didn't read the news paper of the day which I always do after getting freshen up in the morning so that I can be aware of what's going on around the world.

Getting up from the couch I started searching for it since I couldn't see it on the centre table. But the result was still the same. I couldn't find the news paper. I also asked Amber if she knows where is it but she replied that she also didn't saw it from the morning. She suggests me to ask Rebecca if she knows where is the newspaper and so I asked her.

Me: Rebecca

Rebecca: Yes babe?

Me: Do you know where is the newspaper. Did you see it?

Rebecca: Yes I know honey. Wait I will bring it with the coffee.

Me: Okay babe.

After ten minutes Rebecca came back to the bedroom which we share with each other with the coffee mugs and a newspaper on the tray.

Rebecca: Amber this one is yours and Sarah here is your coffee and the newspaper. She said as she handed us the things which we needed the most at that time.

"Thanks babe" I and Amber said in unison.

Rebecca: Thanks? To me? Seriously? Oh come on, you guys don't need to mention that babes. I can do anything for you guys.

Me: Aww so sweet of you dear. I said to her and gave her a flying kiss and she smiled on my childish nature while sitting on the couch with her coffee mug.

Taking a sip of the coffee I decided to open the newspaper with my other hand saw a colorfull leaflet slipped out from it as I tried to open it and fell on the ground in front of me. I bend a bit to bring it up and turned it to the front part to read the matter which it contained.

In the leaflet:

''workers required for BigHit company. Apply within two weeks. For more details contact the above numbers.
The recruitment is urgent''.

After reading the leaflet by my own in my mind I suddenly started to get happy and showed the leaflet to my baes, Amber and Rebecca.

Me: Hey, look at this leaflet guys, there is a company named BigHit company. The manager need some workers for the company and also gave the contact number for more details. I think we should go for the interview. What say?

Amber: But what if they already get the workers? Look at the given time .....they clearly mentioned it 'within two weeks' and according to that we are standing in the second week now.... I don't think that they have any vacancies for us.

Me: Yeah, I know we are a bit late. But what if they still have some vacancies? What if they still need some workers? Then? I don't think that we should let this chance go. We should at least give it a try.

Rebecca: I think she is right, Amber. I know we have a least chance to get this job. But at least we can give it a try, right?

Amber: Okay then.... If you guys are saying so,, then let's give it a try.

Me: Ahhhh thanks Amber.

Amber: My pleasure babe. She said with a smile.

Rebecca: Now somebody call them.

Me: Yeah, wait I'm calling them. I said and they nodded.

I grabbed my phone which was lying on the centre table in front of us and dialed the first number which was given on the leaflet.

Me: It's ringing.. I said and waited patiently for someone to pick up the call.

"Hello I'm Kim Su Jeong, how can I help you?" After few seconds of ringing a lady with a beautiful voice finally picked up the call.

Me: Hello I'm Sarah.

The Lady: Yes Ms Sarah, how can I help you?

Me: Ahhh actually I got a leaflet of your company which mentioned that your company needs some new workers. So I just want to know that is the place of new workers is still vacant or not?

The Lady: Yeah we still have a vacancy of workers in our company.

Me: Oh great..so can we go tomorrow for the interview?

The Lady: Yes you can.... But did you mentioned 'we'?

Me: Oh yes, actually there are three of us, and we need this job very much. So that's why we decided that all three of us will go for the interview.

The Lady: Okay understand, so do you girls want to give the interview together or separately?

Me: We three would like to give the interview together.

The lady: Okay it's done. So you girls can come around 10am tomorrow for the interview and don't be late cause our manager don't like late peoples.

Me: No we won't be late ma'am and thanks for the details.

The Lady: Your welcome dear. Have a nice day ahead girls. After that she hang up the call and we guys get busy to prepare our things for the next day.
