As OUAT fans, you know that there have been quite a few seasons of the show since I published this story. EAGERLY AWAITING SEASON 7! I put an insane amount of time and planning in keeping this story completely in line with what was (at the time) the one and only season of the show. (That was in 2012... I feel so old.) >_< I'm proud to have successfully done so because I still get a bit judgmental when I read a fan-fiction that contradicts facts and events in the original story.
Obviously when you watch past the first season, the direction I took things here starts drifting away from the actual storyline of the show. My young mind decided it would be a good idea to write the sequel after season 2 came out to have more ideas to work with. Unfortunately, contradictions with my story started happening less than halfway through the second season and the perfectionist in me just didn't have the heart to start on a sequel. Or maybe that heart is locked up in Wonderland, who knows... (Jefferson, take me to the Queen's garden!) Long story short, despite any sequel plans I had, I'm sorry to say it's not going to happen. I know I left things with a cliffhanger, but I invite you to come up with and share theories you have about what you think will happen to everyone! Anything is a possibility when going to the Wood Between the Worlds, after all.
Lastly, thank you so much for reading this story! Every time I log onto Wattpad I get more and more notifications about people commenting, voting, and reading. I never imagined that I would get over 10 thousand reads for something I wrote! You are all amazing, and I can't even begin to describe how happy it makes me to see you interacting with this story with your votes and comments! Thank you~ ❤️
