Chapter 3

Red

"Sans is sure taking a long time up there with Asriel..." Geno said, finally stopping from eating toast. Red drummed his fingers. He kept thinking of reasons why Chara would be crying. Also, why Sans was involved in all of this. Why? Why is it always Sans? Red wished sometimes he got into conflict. Then, speaking of, Sans came down with Asriel. Sans had a piece of paper in his hand. Red looked closer. He could see very neat handwriting. His heart pounded. He knew that was Ink's handwriting. He'd recognize it anytime. What happened..? He was about to get his answer when Sans sat back down. Sans! You're back! Did you find anything? Frisk signed. "Yeah," Sans said, holding up the paper. Red grimaced. "Lemme guess. Ink wrote it?" He asked, careful with his questions. "Yeah...he's...um..." Sans stuttered, trying to get his words out. "He's what?" Geno asked. Sans looked down. "Red and Geno. Come with me. Now." Sans said, rushing out the door. "Wha- hey! Wait up!!" Geno yelled out, stumbling. Red stood there for a moment. What happened in Ink's room that made Sans have trouble to talk? He pondered on the question for a few moments. He snapped out of it when he realized he needs to be outside. He put on his jacket and quickly put on his sneakers then closed the door behind him. "Took you long enough!" Geno said, crossing his arms at him, looking upset with him. "Shut up. Now, what are you trying to tell us, Sans?" Red said, turning his attention away from Geno to Sans. Sans looked more depressed than ever. "Ink..he's....he's been captured by Error...." Sans weakly said. "Are you serious?" Geno said, his eye (oh yeah, Geno has a glitched eye.) widening. Sans gave Red the note. Red moved it over a bit so Geno could see. As they read it, Red worried that Ink might've gotten killed. He pushed that thought aside. Ink is a strong guy. He's pretty tough to beat. Red handed the note back to Sans. Geno crossed his arms again. "So..Ink thinks that we can beat Error?" he questioned. "Apparently," Red replied. "Ink is a pretty smart guy. Not gonna lie. He is." Red added on. "Also...he said...that.. he saw Ashia with Error...." Sans said. Red's heart dropped. He kept this from a secret from everyone, but, he had a crush on Ashia. Alphys said Red was a "tsundere" or something. So, means that he didn't express his feelings in front Ashia. No wonder he had trouble confessing his feelings towards Ashia.

"So..you're.. saying she's with...Ink." Red said, his words shaky. "Yeah," Sans said. "So, what are we gonna do?" Geno asked. "We're gonna find em' that's what we're gonna do!" Red shouted. Red looked behind them, where the door to other universes was. "They could be in great danger in there," Geno said. "So what are we waiting for? Let's go!" he said, looking back at the others. "Wait for whoa- you're just gonna go with it? We don't know where Error even took them!" Geno jumped back in surprise. "Red's right," Sans said. He looked up. "Let's go." Sans added, looking straight at the door. "Okay then..." Geno said.

They walked through the door.
