You woke up with a start, your breath was short and feeling faint. You clutched your chest as you tried to even your breaths with each gasp, you looked around your frame. Despite the head ache you seemed fine and unharmed, that was a good thing... Right..?

"Nightmare... Just... A nightmare..," you breath out. You were in your room, there was no tall, faceless monster. It was just your paranoia getting the best of you like usual.

"Not exactly," a voice said. You jumped in your bed, frantically looking around to find the source of the voice. You nearly screamed when you saw the tall faceless being that had been haunting you in your room. He was crouched down so his head wouldn't hit the ceiling, but that just made him more menacing.

"NOPE," you shouted as you tried to make a break for the door. Immediately you were lifted from the ground, a black limb was wrapped around your waist. You struggled and tried to dig your nails into it so it drop you but only managed to let out a breathless scream of agony once it squeezed you. It had so much strength, it felt like you were getting your insides squeezed out of your body. You looked at the tall being with a pained look and stopped struggling.

"It seems I was right about you," the being... Said..? It didn't have a mouth so you weren't entirely sure how that worked. "Or maybe not. Why is it that you seem so infuriated by my lack of facial features?"

"Oh I don't know, maybe because it's not normal?!" You shouted. That only made whatever was wrapped around you waist to tighten further. Another breathless scream left your lips and you withered in pain.

"If only you weren't such a talker this might be less of headache," it muttered... somehow. Another squeeze sent you into more unbearable pain.

"What was that for..?!" You yelled, gasping for breath towards the end.

"You were thinking about my lack of facial features again," the being rubbed its chin. "We're going to work on that"

"The hell do you mean by that..?!" You gasped. The being lifted you up to its face were the white skin sunk into its face, creating the outline of a face.

"Well, you'll be becoming my proxy so you're going to have to learn a few rules," suddenly you were dropped on the ground, the impact knocked the wind out of your lungs making you gasp for air. "You do not speak unless told to do so"

Your chest heaved as you tried to take back as much air as possible. Suddenly your face was pulled up and you were met with the faceless creature. You trembled in fear as you tried to shake yourself free from its grasp.

"Secondly," the creature lifted you up. "You must not feel emotion. It'll prove to be an obstacle when fulfilling tasks"

"What? Do you expect me to turn off my feelings-" was all you got out before a sharp pain smashed through your back making you yelp in pain.

"Rule number one child. Remember it," it scolded you. You stayed quiet this time. "A fast learner, excellent"

You merely stared at the ground below you to avoid looking at the thing, it was giving you a headache. You listen to it ramble about jobs and tasks that you would have to fulfill if you wanted to keep on living. You drowned out its voice, more like the headache was drowning out its voice. You were beginning to feel lightheaded and nauseous from just hearing its voice.
