I sat at my desk chair editing a new video when my phone chimed. Simon had just uploaded a video, 'GIRL FRIEND DOES MY MAKEUP CHALLENGE'. I pulled up my YouTube subscriptions and clicked on the video.

Simon introduced the video and then Rose jumped into frame. I felt myself tense up a little bit in jealousy. I knew she didn't like Simon - at least as far as I know - but I couldn't help but feel jealous.

Simon talked a bit through the video and it was just normal commentary. There was nothing to make me worry about the two of them, until the end of the video. Simon pulled her towards him and gave her a kiss on the cheek and all she did was giggle and smile, then the video  ended and it cut to his outro.

I stopped the video and let out a deep breath. My stomach was twisting and turning. I hated seeing her happy with another guy. I know that she's friends with all of them just as I am with my female friends but Simon seemed a bit too comfortable with her.

I needed to call her. I couldn't just sit here and feel jealous about a girl who isn't even mine and not do anything about it.

"Hey Chris" When she answered the phone I felt my spirits lift up and a whole new surge of confidence came over me.

"Can I see you? Like in person." I said.

"Sure thing. Do you want to meet somewhere or should I come over there, you over here?"

"Lets meet up at the park close to your building?"

"I'll be there in about ten." She said. I nodded then realized she couldn't see me.

"See you there." I got up from my desk and changed into a pair of jeans and a white tshirt. I pulled my jacket on at the door and took my keys with me.

The ride to the park felt like it took hours when in reality it only took about ten minutes. I spotted her on the swings playing on her phone. A small part of me thought it would be completely stupid to just walk up to her and kiss her like in the movies but the romantic side of me thought it was a fantastic idea. So that's what I did.

I grabbed her face gently in my hands and she slowly stood to meet my body as I kissed her. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she played with my hair as I held her waist tight.

"Well hello to you too." She laughed as we pulled away gasping for breath.

"I needed to talk to you about the video with Simon." I wasn't going to beat around the bush. I wanted to get straight to the point.

"The kiss right?" My face showed shock as she guessed exactly what I was talking about.

"Well yes. How did you know?" We sat down on the grass facing each other.

"Because I know you Christopher. You're a wonderfully jealous boy, and it's cute." I blushed and she continued. "As for the kiss. Simon was just trying to mess up my makeup by getting lipstick all over my cheek. Nothing relationship-y or romantic. Purely him being the annoying little shit he is." I laughed and shook my head looking down to the grass. I then lifted my head slightly and looked into her gorgeous eyes.

"You know me so well." She smiled and reached out for my hands.

"You do know that you're the only guy I want, right?"
