Summer Vacation (Editing and Rewriting)

Chapter Seven

I'M ALIVE!!! Jk. I'm really dead inside. Anyway, I'm back from Mexico, and I'm ready to type for you guys! Ya happy? Okay, I really want to apologize for two things: 1-I freaking didn't upload for a week! I get really mad at authors when they up and leave on the story, so I really wanted to apologize. 2- The long author's notes! I'll try to shorten them. Anyway, my cinnamon rolls, enjoy the books!

Marinette, Adrien, Nino, and Alya all sat side by side as they ate their hamburgers. Adrien had said a pun that was so utterly ridiculous, that Marinette snorted. Her three friends turned to her, surprised.

"You just snorted!" Alya laughed, and the other three laughed along with her.

After the laughter subsided, Adrien looked over at Marinette. (Time for some major awkwardness!!! Lol, is that even a word?) "You have something on your face." (I'm cringing right now...) He grabbed a napkin, and wiped it off. Adrien ALMOST didn't want to move his hand away. Marinette noticed, and looked up in surprise. He quickly moved his hand away, and glanced over to the other couple. Alya was holding up her phone, taking a video, while she stuffed fries in her mouth, as Nino whispered to her. 'Shit' He thought.

"Um... we gonna head out?" Adrien asked, hopeful. Alya nodded and walked to the car.

After around 5 hours of driving...

"Are we there yet?" Marinette groaned, sarcastically. Alya laughed, as she turned the car.

"Actually, yes we are." She parked the car and looked back at Adrien and Marinette, who were sitting in the back seat. She grineed, and Marinette got a bad feeling. Mari raised an eyebrow at her, and her best friend just shook it off. "Time to get out!" She yelled, hopping out of the car and opening the trunk. Nino popped out after her to help.

"Awwww." Sighed Marinette. "They would make a cute couple, wouldn't they?" She turned to Adrien, only to find him staring intently at her face. "Um.... I'm going to go help..." She quickly opened the car door and basically ran to help Alya set up tents.

Meanwhile, in the car, after the door had closed, Plagg made is entrance. He snorted. "You, kiddo, are a freak." He laughed again, stuffing cheese in his mouth. As he ate, he said, "She caught you staring at her!"

"Shut up Plagg." Adrien mumbled, and opened his jacket a little. 

"Whatever." Plagg rolled his eyes, and flew to hide. Adrien got out of the car, walked over to Nino, and started to help his bud set up.

"So you like her, dude?" Nino asked, as he connected two poles. Adrien just looked at him.

"What?"

"Marinette. You like her, don't you?" Adrien felt his face turn red. "I'll take that as a yes. I'll give you some advice." He slid the pole into the tent. "Don't stare."
