Not another stereotype love story

What about a walk?

"Hikari? John?" i couldn’t believe my eyes am i dreaming? Are they really here?

"In flesh and blood" John flashed me one of his famous smirk

"Guys, I've missed you so much!" i stood up and hugged them both tightly

"We missed you too, but you don’t need to kill us" John said

“You little bitch, not even once caring to invite us to stay with you for a while!!" Hikari was angry and i could sense it especially that she slapped me hard

"Damn it Hikari, easy with the hand, i am really sorry guys, if you didn’t show up now i would have ran away and came to you"

I have been walking for a long time and my back was starting to hurt badly "Why don’t we go to my place and hang out for a while?" i was trying to get home fast, i really couldn’t bare the pain anymore, no one would!

John sigh and stopped me from walking, then he kneel in front of me "Come on hop on, your back is hurting"

"How did you know?"

"Well, i have known you for long enough to know when you are hurting, besides i miss caring you like old times" he winked at me "Come on before i change my mind"

"Yeah! And i miss nagging about why he cares you and not me" John shook his head "how many times do i have to tell you that if you ever have any health problems i will carry you more than that i am not a community serves worker Hikari" i laughed at my best friends argument, I now remember why I can’t find anyone like them they are the true meaning of a one in a million friends

I hopped on Johns back and the ride started, John always knew how to lift my mood when i am sad "To infinite and beyond!!" and with that he started running "Hey!! Wait for me you guys!!" Hikari was running after us, i was laughing, they really made me the happiest person in the world!

John stopped so sudden that i thought i was going to fall "What's wrong J.? Why did you stop?"

"There's a guy staring at us and I think he's a killer"

"What? Where?" i looked over J's shoulder and saw the last person i wanted to see today Issel..... I sighed heavily and buried my face into J's back "Stalker alert?"

"More like annoying alert"

"You guys are the worse! You know i hate running" Hikari was taking her breathe and shouting at us, John ignored her and continued his talk

"A friend of yours?"

"More like a frienemy" John chuckled and walked towards the house as if he didn’t see him, as we passed i felt his eyes burning my back

"I see you found yourself a new servant"

I could feel John tensed, i tapped his shoulder "Don’t John, he doesn’t know anything"

"What cat got your tongue now? You were all tough in the morning what happened?"

I got off John's back and he gave me a confused look, i nodded towards Issel and walked ahead of John

"What's your problem buddy?" when i turned around i found that John went for Issel

"You're my problem! Who are you and what are you doing with Misaki?"

"None of your fuckin business!" John was starting to get angry and he started pushing Issel away.

I walked up to them and I noticed that Hikari was standing away watching the whole thing with curious “cut it off guys, I don't want a scene"

"Go in Misaki, I'll make sure he doesn't bother you again"

"Ohh Misaki, did know you had a jealous boyfriend" I looked at Issel and gave him a disapproval look

"John come on, you didn't come all the way here to fight"

"You are right, come on Hikari, let's get inside"

"I'll be with you in a minute guys" I said and pushed them in, John gave me a worried look, but I smiled at him. They walked to the door while arguing as usual.

I turned to face Issel, who looked pissed by now "Want to take a walk?"

"Yeah I guess" we started walking in silence and it was awkward, I wanted to know what’s wrong? Why is he like this?

"I'm sorry about earlier, I was acting like a jerk"

"Its fine, I think I went overboard with slapping you, so I guess I'm sorry as well"

He chuckled and shook his head "I deserved that one though"

Silence fell again, but this time it want awkward "so you have a boyfriend?"

What? "Boyfriend? Who?"

"This John guy, isn't he your boyfriend?"

"No no no god no! John is my best friend we have been best friends since the third grade. It was always me, Hikari and John" I started to remember the old days and how much fun we used to have "So you don't have a boyfriend?"

"No" it was hard for me to trust boys especially after what happened before... I never want to remember again, life taught me a hard lesson that I will never forget, I will never forget what 'he' did

"Well, I better get you back to your house to your friends, they didn't get to come here so they sit with you parents"

I giggled "yeah you are probably right" as we walked home, we started to talk again like nothing happened and like we weren't fighting only hours ago.

"Well, thanks for walking me home, see you tomorrow" I waved at him and started to get the key to open the door

"Say Misaki"

"Yes?" I turned around and faced him, he looked nervous and he started to rub the back of his neck

"Are you free next Saturday?"

 "What?" Did he just say what i think he said ?
