The Carnival

"Umm what?" I didn’t hear him clearly the first time or maybe I did, but both ways I want to hear him again this time.

"I was saying do you want to-"

"Misaki, you're going to leave your friends, who you haven't seen for a long time wait longer?" I turned around and saw John, he's face was red as if he was about to explode, why is he that angry?

"Yeah, I am coming, see you around Issel" I ran into the house and John behind me, once the door was close.

"Couldn't you like wait one extra minute?!!" I started punching him in the chest, but he didn't even flick, yet he was chuckling

"You like him that much?" he held my hand and stopped them, although I knew Hikari since kindergarten, John was much closer to me. He knew me very well and I knew him too, we had this weird connection and we always feared for the other.

"N-no, I don't know what you are talking about" he let go of my hand and rolled his eyes

"Yes you do, but you are hiding it and you know you can't hide anything from me

I tried to avoid eye contact with him, but where ever I go his eyes followed me, I sighed and ran a hand through my hair "Yes I like him"

He chuckled and pulled my hand “Well Hikari is asleep in your room, so we have time to talk about everything"

Oh boy this is going to be a long day

Asia P.O.V 

As I left school, I couldn't find Misaki nor Issel, it was weird they both said that we'll meet by Hyodo’s car, but he was nowhere to be found. As I reached my house, I parked the car and went straight inside, as usual my dad was at work and my brothers not home.

I walked to Hyodo’s room, his room was the further, he chose it just to be away from everybody in this house, I hate that our family doesn’t have a bond, but what I hate the most is watching my brother get hurt and not able to do anything.

As I entered the room, I couldn't find him "Where is he?" I asked myself as I exit the room and walked to my room. I dialed his number, but there was no answer.

I sighed and placed the phone on the bed and went to take a bath. I wore my pajama pants and a hoodie and started my homework, when my ringtone went off ~Jasmine~  

"Hey Jasmine, what's up?"

"Hey Asia, did you hear about the school's carnival held next Friday?"

"No, why?”

"Well, we are all going, so what to tag along?”

"I have to see with Misaki or sh-"

"She's not coming, said something about old friends came to town, so you're in?"

"Well, I don't know I have to che-"

"There's no way out, you’re in and that’s final, see you tomorrow!”

"But wai-" the line was disconnected, well I guess I have plans next Friday

Misaki P.O.V.

"Shit"

"Yeah, I know"

"You flipped him, then slap him?" John started laughing again for the fifth time

"Oh, come on John, from all what I have said that's what you learnt about?"

"I-I-I'm sorry, it's just too funny"
