Mangle sighed as she stepped out of Freddy Fazbear's and slowly made her way over to Toy Chica. She stood by the girl until the group agreed they were going to try a different day to get the respectful prize the girls won.
The group of teens all started their way back home and all had at least one person with them, for safety after what they had all just witnessed. It completely depended how close everyone lived to each other.
Mangle knew she would get to be with Toy Chica because the two lived right next to each other. What Mangle didn't know is that another person would be joining their walk home. Chica.
Although Foxy argued with Freddy about letting Chica go somewhere without him by her side, Chica had convinced him to let her go with the girls.
Mangle was now standing in between Toy Chica and Chica. The air was so still, so quite, and so very awkward. "So, um, Chica. What do you like to do for fun?"Mangle asked trying to break the silence between the three.
"I bake." Chica said with little to none expression in her voice. "Now's not the time Mangle, I think we should just keep heading home." Chica said ignoring the look of disappointment that she had received from Mangle.
"You don't have to sound so uninterested in Mangle you know." Toy Chica said a little defensively of her friend.
"I am not uninterested, I simply want to get home so I can relax and forget about everything that just happened in the last 15 minutes." Chica said with a hint of anger in her voice.
"Please stop fighting!" Mangle said as she looked to both of the girls.
"We weren't fighting." Toy Chica said as she crossed her arms. "Just having a friendly disagreement about the tone in Chica's voice."
"What about the tone in your voi-"
"Oh look we are home TC! I'll keeping walking Chica while you go home okay? Bye!" Mangle said frantically running away dragging Chica along. She was gasping for air as soon as she saw that Toy Chica was out of sight.
"You're a strange girl Mangle." Chica said as Mangle turned her head at her quickly and felt quite sad. "But, you're...pretty nice." Chica admitted. "I know I may seem strange at times, but that's just becuase I don't want something bad happening to you. There are many things about our school that you still don't know about." Chica admitted to Mangle.
Mangle smiled happily at what Chica had just said to her and continued on her walk beside the blonde feeling much more comfortable than she did before.
---
Chica sighed as she stepped into her house and closed the door. She threw her backpack onto the ground and made her way into the kitchen. She ran her hand through her blond hair and looked at the oven.
'Should I bake something?' Chica thought. She agreed with herself that she would and walked over to the pantry. She pulled out a few ingredients, such as flour and sugar. She smiled as she was going to start doing the thing she loved the most when she heard her front door open then slam shut.
"Chi-Chi ya home?" asked the person that had come through the door.
"Yeah sis! I am right here!" Chica called to her big sister as she started walking from her spot in kitchen to the front door where she would see her sister. She didn't smile nor did she frown once she saw her sister.
"What's up Chi-Chi?" her older sister, Phantom Chica asked. Her real name wasn't Phantom Chica. It was a nice name once, but as soon as she could, the elder girl had changed her name. Phantom Chica lived with Chica and according to the law was also her guardian.
"Nothing. You smell like alcohol though." Chica said disappointed in the elder girl. "You said you would stop drinking and doing dr-"
"Look I am trying okay!" Phantom Chica yelled at Chica making Chica step back from her older sister a few steps. "Sorry, I lashed out."
"It's okay! At least you didn't threaten to hit me this time! See you're getting better!" Chica said excited that her sister may be getting better from her constant drinking and partying.
"So whatcha' making? Thought I heard some rustling in the kitchen." Phantom Chica said as she walked with Chica to the kitchen.
"You know, the usual. Some cupcakes." Chica said smiling, but her smile soon faded as soon as she noticed her sister's hand reach back into her pocket and pull out a lighter. "I thought we threw away your lighter!" Chica said with anger in her voice.
"Some person gave me another one. You can take it." Phantom Chica said holding out the lighter to her younger sister.
Chica brightly smiled and grabbed the lighter from Phantom Chica's hand and hugged her sister. "Oh I am so happy that you are getting better!" Chica exclaimed.
"Yeah...I'm going out tonight though. There is a sick party at Spring's place that I am not missing. I swear I will come home before midnight though." Phantom Chica said as her sister sighed.
"And what's the maximum number of drinks you can have?" Chica asked quizzing her sister of the rules they had set.
"3 cups. I know." Phantom Chica said rubbing her sister's head while smiling. "Now lets get to work on those cupcakes."
---
"See ya later Chi-Chi." Phantom Chica said as she opened the door then stepped out and closed the door behind her.
Chica sighed and looked down to her feet. She was deep in thought until her phone buzzed. She looked up and then to her phone which was right beside her. "Wonder who that is." Chica said as she picked up her phone.
Bonnie.
"That dope, what does he want now?" Chica thought aloud as she opened her phone and saw the text message he had sent her.
'talk to foxy yet?'
Chica sighed and thought about what had happened the last few days of summer. She texted him back and after patiently waited for a response.
'Two things. One: Learn proper grammar and two: No not yet. I will soon'
'You should. You can't go on like this for much longer.'
'Shut it. It's my personal life. See ya at school and thanks for proper capitalization.'
'I was hoping you would notice.'
Chica laughed a little and safely placed her phone on the couch. She leaned back into her chair and thought once more.
In all honesty, she thought Foxy was a great guy. Some girl was going to be very happy if they were to score him. She just didn't love him though.
She put up an act to try and make sure Foxy didn't become like her elder sister. She told herself that she may be able to learn to love him, or even one day truly fall in love. She just never felt the connection.
Now it was time for her to suck it up and tell Foxy her true feelings. Not the act she had been putting up for quite some time now.
Chica's hands were shaking as she picked up her phone once more. She unlocked it and went to call someone. She typed in a number and placed the phone to her ear.
The person on the other side picked up the phone and Chica let out a slight sigh after the person on the other side of the phone had greeted her.
"Don't worry, I made it home safe. Hey Foxy...we need to talk."
