*3 months later*

I can still remember the moment when chase nearly died before ever getting to eli

And how david disappeared without a word .

And how now we were ready to move on and look for eli , that this war was barely beginning and there was a long road ahead of us.

As i got ready i started packing my stuff , then chase came in with a duffle bag and told me to put only necessary items and that we wouldn't be carrying much.

Just what we could carry.

So i did as chase told me and packed a few clothing items were amongst them was a beautiful white long dress that eli had given me in case i wanted to go to prom , prom-the day that i went off with julius to the masquerade party and the day that julius had hurt eli.

The day i discovered that julius was a vampire and that he didn't love me but used me to get to elizabeth.

*1 hour later*

When i had finished packing my bags i headed to chase room to notify him i was done and in the clear to go but to my surprise i didn't find him there or his belongings and i began to feel frightened , i feared that he was hurt or that he was in trouble].

And as i screamed his name and searched everywhere i felt lonely and i feared that maybe he was gone and just like many had disappeared from my life and had left me alone.

But most of all i felt sad and hoped with all my heart to not find him, i wished to not see him in tears not like the many days that he would walk out in the woods and look up in the moonlight as he too feared for eli.

As tired and exhausted as i felt from all the running and the more my feet trembled , the more i felt like not giving up.

'I truly am so stubborn' i said to myself as i ended back to the cabin hoping he would be there.

As i sat down and looked at the trees, a car suddenly started driving towards the cabin and the closer it got, the more i could see and inside was chase.

"Been waiting long" chase said to me as he got of the car and told me to put my belongings inside.

"Yeah i've been waiting a whole century for you , and now i'm a ghost that's going to haunt you forever till you die wah ha ha " i sarcastically said as i pretended to be a ghost.

For a moment i could see that chase had chuckled but not long before his face became gloomy and sadness filled his eyes as he spoke and said" if you're willing to haunt me forever".

"Of course, even if we part, i'll always live inside you, in your heart and in your memories.our memories live with us forever" i responded as i looked at him and smiled and looked up at the sky.

He seemed to like the idea and looked up at the sky with me before grabbing my baggage and putting it in the car and instructing me to get in the car and put my seat belt on.

I was so exhausted from all the running and screaming i had done so i decided to take a nap, as i slept i had dreamed , dreamed of eli and me , we were together in my room , singing along to our favorite songs and taking walks.

We were so happy and i was so happy to see eli .

eli pulled out a necklace and she smiled at me then i suddenly reached for my neck and saw i was wearing a necklace.

For as long as i can remember , we had both had this necklace, we had been wearing it since birth and we had never taken it off not even in the shower.
