Strange Desire

It is no secret that Annabelle and chase have been training in order to prepare themselves for the battle to come.

They had just finished fighting off some monsters in the woods but they knew their journey would be hard but they were willing to risk it all to save Elizabeth from the hands of Julius.

As Annabelle and Julius made their way to the forbidden woods they came across a mysterious man with a black cape that crossed their paths, chase paid no attention to the man and continued to walk forward but Annabelle couldn't help but catch a glance at the caped man.

Although she couldn't see much, she still managed to catch a glimpse of the caped mans tattoo that laid on his right eye with a sword figure.

after the caped man walked past her she suddenly caught herself in a lucid dream of the same tattoo she had seen but couldn't remember where she had seen it so not long before she turned around but when she faced where the man once stood it was too late for he had gone.

Anabelle began to walk towards the woods but she had lost sight of Chase, as she anxiously looked for chase she came across a cave that was hidden by leaves, so she walked towards the cave.

in the middle of the cave was a beautiful old oak tree that reached as high as the sky and the sunlight embraced the leaves.  For the first time, Annabelle felt the warmth and was so happy that she could smile.

she was restless from the long journey and had seen a cascade further down from the oak tree so she undressed and sprung into the water falls.

water splattered everywhere as she laid and closed her eyes and washed up, as soon as she was done bathing; she dressed and looked around the cave where she found a big stone with words she felt she had seen before but couldn't understand the meaning.

On top of the stone lay a book with the word craved ''Terra Incognita'', Annabelle picked the book up and scanned through the pages when she heard a man calling out to her ''you shouldn't trespass" the caped man said.

he quickly made his way to where the book had fallen and picked it up "unknown land" he said to Annabelle.

"I beg your pardon," Annabelle said with a confused glance, "you wanted to know what was carved on the book right?" answered the man.

"Ahh yes, I'm sorry I didn't know this cave belonged to you" Annabelle apologized as she looked down from guilt.

to her surprise, the caped man quickly answered: " This isn't my cave".

"Then whose cave is this? " she questioned again out of curiosity to where the caped man stared at her for a whole minute straight before angrily answering and kicking her out of the cave.

"Leave Now!!! I say" he said as he pushed her away quickly without another word but a message to her to never come back.

Annabelle was left baffled and she walked around the woods to see if she could spot chase, "Annabelle where have you been?" chase questioned Annabelle with a concerned face on his face.

"I was in the cave -and you wouldn't believe what happened" Anna joyful spoke as she walked alongside with chase at his side as he exchanged a face of disbelief and confused.

"what cave are you talking about, Anna you have gone mad, it must be the lack of sleep," he said as he settled his stuff down and prepared tents to sleep in and told Anna to collect wood for the fire.

Annabelle was out seeking for wood after she had collected enough wood for the fire, she began to walk back to where the chase was but before she could get there, Anna felt so light headed and dizzy and suddenly fainted.

chase was fixing the tents and had also collected some food to cook for early breakfast, he was so tired that he decided to take a nap as he waited for anna.

chase had finally woken up but Anna was nowhere to be seen 'how could she lose herself again' chase thought as he yelled for Anna and when he heard no answer he worried and ran as fast as he could.

'i have lost Elizabeth I can't lose you too Anna, Elizabeth would never forgive me if I did'.

Meanwhile back in vampire town in the very distant where the shadows could not be seen was Elizabeth who had woken up to a terrible nightmare as she screamed for Annabelle "Anna" Anna".

she awoke with tears in her eyes, stood up and walked towards the chilly window that laid cold ice on her shoulders.

tears falling down her and Julius couldn't help but enter as he walked beside her and took off his coat as he placed it on her chilly shoulders.

"let me be Julius," Elizabeth said without even sparing a glance at Julius as she took the coat Julius had placed and walked over to her bed where she pretended to sleep but in fact, she was wallowing.

Elizabeth could sense her friend was in danger and so that night she had no sleep and could stop the tears from falling from her eyes.

Julius was left heartbroken but indeed being the man he was, his love for Elizabeth became selfish and so he prepared a marriage ritual that would force Elizabeth to marry him without a will or say of her own.

as we travel back to the forbidden woods where chase finally finds Annabelle, he sees that she has fainted so he picks her up and carries her back to the tent.

and in that same night that Elizabeth shed tears, Annabelle too shed tears but her dreams were of a distant past in a distant place she can not recognize as she screams " mom'' 'dad''. don't leave me please, i can't do this alone, I don't know my purpose''.

anna awoke with tears in her eyes but she did not know why she was crying and the faces she had seen all seemed blurry to her.

as they slept they all wandered into their deepest desires.

while others wished to be loved, some wished to find their purpose and wanted to be saved.

but when they all awoke they were back to where they had begun and there was no way for turning back. The reality was before them and there was no escape to their strange desires.
